Sneak Peek: Viseart Grande Pro (Vol. 1) Palette Photos & Swatches
Viseart Grande Pro (Vol. 1) Eyeshadow Palette ($175.00 for 2.10 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette exclusively available through Muse Beauty Pro. It contains 30 eyeshadows–24 new, 6 from previously-released palettes, which will be all the shades that aren’t labeled “Grande Pro (Vol. 1) #X”–in a slim palette. They are the same size as the eyeshadows found in the six-pan Theory palettes, and they are removable.
First Impressions
Some shades were nicely pigmented, while others were medium in coverage but seemed to be buildable. The majority seemed to be blendable and finely-milled, though a few shades could have had better textures (the fuchsia, purple, deep blue all come to mind). There are a lot of shades to test here, but so far, I haven’t had any issues applying or blending out the ten or so shades I’ve tried.
I’m surprised some of these swatches look so poorly pigmented. Viseart usually makes such out standing eye shadows but this palette doesn’t look like something I’d be interested in. Gorgeous blue eye look Christine!
The shades that aren’t as good (especially the grays) are about what I’d expect to perform poorly. I hope the formula is buildable to be opaque.
I’d have to agree that these swatches look underwhelming to say the least. Here you have this vivid palette and these wan swatches. What happened?
For that price I’d expect much better. Also, someone to come to my home and do my makeup 🙂
Your purple eye look is to die for!
The grays look pretty dismal, which is surprising. Several of the shades in this palette don’t look so hot to me, actually, but it’s good that they’re buildable.
Agree with Denise. This does not look up to par. And the some of the shades I like did less well. Swatched mufe today, too. I love mufe…but that holiday palette swatched abysmally…as if someone left it out in the Rub al Khali for a year, and not near an oasis either. Maybe this’ll be the first holiday since I was out of work, that I just don’t score any eye palette.
This one is definitely NOT rocking my world. The patchiness and low saturation of pigment in many of the shades looks terrible. Especially at such an elevated price point.
On the other hand, your eye looks you were somehow able to get from it are downright fantastic! Providing some creative inspiration over here!
Hmmm – not overly impressed is my first thought. Lots of the shades seem very patchy and the shades aren’t really exciting me.
Once again Christine, a collection of gorgeous eye looks.
I actually think most of these colors except for a small few, look amazing. especially the pinks, purples, and reds. Cant wait for your review.
Wow…some of these look really poorly executed – either patchy or downright invisible (#6!!!!). I know I’d be really disappointed if I’d splashed out the cash for this and then saw the sub-standard results of far too many of the shadows.
I am not wowed by the swatches but have to wonder if they perform better on the eye than they swatch? You certainly got some beautiful eye looks with this palette, Christine. Even the lighter eye looks stunning. For this price I will have to be convinced it is worth it and I am not hopeful. I think the eye looks were your talent and not the shadows.
This looks…..disappointing. :/
#24 is exactly the blue I’m forever trying to found! Can someone point a dupe for this color?
Viseart usually swatches poorly on me but perform fantastically on the eye/cheek so I’m not concerned about the swatches at all.
I had my hopes up for this because I think viseart shadows are really nice. Looking across the swatches, I notice while the pans look different, some are going to be too similar. The grays and mauve colors were what attracted me and they don’t look great. 🙁
I’ve been going back and forth on this palette. I thought it would sell out immediately but it hasn’t yet so I think the price point is making people hold back. After seeing the patchy and poorly pigmented swatches I don’t think I want this anymore.
I think these swatched really well overall! What I love with Viseart eyeshadows are that they tend to perform much better than they swatch. Also I love that the undertone on my skin does not affect the color of the eyeshadow. There is so many eyeshadows out there that will look neutral in the pan but pull warm or rosy when applied. This is a definite purchase for me since I will declutter half of my current eyeshadow palettes and replace them with this. I love that I will be able to pop these out and create my own theory palettes.
Didn’t impress me, looks like expired, old eyeshadows.
Not wowed either by the swatches (like I wasn’t for the Golden Hour, but I still purchased and am waiting for to arrive. However what you were able to achieve, especially the beautiful icy blue eye look gives me hope that my Viseart purchase won’t be in vain (even though the palette I bought sadly has no blues).
from my experience viseart swatches quite bad in general performing a lot better with brushes on the eye. And if a colour seems iffy it usually still is very buildable
After seeing these swatches I’m only waiting for the pat McGrath mothership palettes swatches and review. That’s my last hope.
Lovely eye looks Christine.
Not impressed, Viseart can do better, much better than this
Wow, these look pretty terrible!
