Sorbet

ColourPop Sorbet Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($9.00 for 0.21 oz.) includes a lighter shimmer eyeshadow, a warm pink shade with flecks of micro-glitter (“glitter metallic” shade, which was listed as not for use around the eye area as it included plastic, or PET, glitter in the ingredient list), and two matte eyeshadows in mauve and red-copper. The products were semi-opaque to opaque in coverage, blendable, and weren’t too prone to fallout.

Glazey

Glazey is a light peach with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage with moderate fallout, due to the more loosely-pressed, slightly drier consistency. I’d recommend applying this with a dampened brush or with a fingertip, which improved coverage and minimized fallout. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview

$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.

The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Scooped

Scooped is a light pink with strong, warm undertones and a bright, metallic finish with traces of small glitter particles. Per the brand, this shade is not intended for use around the immediate eye area. The consistency was soft, slightly loose in its press, but it wasn’t too prone to fallout, despite the inclusion of glitter, and felt emollient enough to adhere evenly and blend out well. This shade lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Extra Syrup

Extra Syrup is a light-medium mauve with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, somewhat powdery with light fallout during application, but it managed to keep most of its opacity when applied and blended out on my lid. It wore nicely for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

Drizzled

Drizzled is a muted, coppery-brown with subtle, warm red undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer, which built up well to full coverage with a touch more product. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable without being powdery nor too firmly-pressed into the pan. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit.
