ColourPop On the Ritz & Scotch Kiss Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquers Reviews & Swatches
On the Ritz
ColourPop On the Ritz Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquer ($8.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a brighter, pinky-plum with cool undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had rich color payoff in a single layer, which applied flawlessly–even, streak-free, and smoothing of my lip lines.
The gloss had a creamy, lightweight consistency that wasn’t tacky at all. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours and looked even more smoothing with time, while the formula was incredibly moisturizing.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.21 oz. - $47.62 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have the "pigment of a liquid lipstick" paired with the "shine of a super gloss" that is also hydrating and "ultra-creamy" with "high colour saturation." They were pigmented--typically semi-opaque to opaque--with a smooth, creamy consistency that was lightweight, non-sticky, and spreadable.
If anything, I found they were a little thicker and/or too much product was dispensed on one pull of the doe-foot applicator (so wipe off excess or try to use just one side for getting coverage) as there was a fine line between a good application (mostly even) and a less-stellar application that had some streaking.
I found that they were smoothing of my lip lines, especially as it wore down, and my lips looked hydrated, fuller, and smoother. Most shades lasted around four hours with some lingering color and shine with an even fade/wear down. The formula was comfortable to wear and very hydrating, and it gave me the feeling of a lipgloss/lip balm hybrid more so than a lipstick/lipgloss hybrid.
They were vanilla-scented but has no discernible taste.

Scotch Kiss
ColourPop Scotch Kiss Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquer ($8.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a brighter, berry pink with cool, blue undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had opaque color coverage paired with a lightweight, creamy, and smooth consistency that was spreadable and comfortable to wear.
The gloss applied evenly overall with a smidgen of streaking along the edges, but it didn’t emphasize my lip lines or lip texture. It wore well for five hours, looked smoother over time, and was hydrating while worn.

Both of those are so pretty and they’re not matte and dry looking (I expect that now with just about every liquid lip type product). And the wear time is really good too for a gloss (especially for something not drying or matte…)
Ooh, I need On The Ritz! What a splendid shade for all year round, but warm and cozy for winter in particular.
These lip glosses have rated so well and they are in popular shades. I do like the In the Ritz shade the best. Both of them look comfortable to wear, not at all drying, so that’s a plus.
These lip lacquers keep blowing it out of the park! I hope some of them come to Ulta soon!
I spoke too soon! It looks like they DID just get a few shades!
Makes grabby hand motions! Mine!
