ColourPop Nice Things & Sweet Stuff Lippie Stix Reviews & Swatches
Nice Things
ColourPop Nice Things Lippie Stix ($7.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark coral with balanced pink and orange undertones paired with a matte finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage, which applied unevenly, gathered in my lip lines, and clumped around imperfections. The texture was very smooth and velvety (without feeling wet), which made it comfortable to apply, but it looked so unflattering on. It lasted for three hours and felt non-drying.

Formula Overview
$7.00/0.0352 oz. - $198.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "full coverage" with a "long-wearing, ultra comfortable" feel. Because there are quite a few finishes in the range, some of the results depend more on the finish.
The matte finish tends to be thinner, drier, and firmer in the tube, and they can, occasionally, tug on my lips noticeably during application, but usually have good pigmentation and long wear; they range from non-drying to somewhat drying.
The Creme finish has a creamier, more emollient quality to it that has excellent pigmentation, comfortable wear, and good wear time (four to six hours); it tends to be a little hydrating but occasionally suffers from issues where product gathers in lip lines or they don't go on as evenly as they could. There's a soft, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Sweet Stuff
ColourPop Sweet Stuff Lippie Stix ($7.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a medium purple with warmer, pink undertones anda matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer with a smooth, velvety texture that was comfortable to apply and to wear. The product adhered evenly and wasn’t prone to emphasizing my lip texture. It stayed on nicely for five hours, left a faint stain behind, and felt non-drying.

Boy, do I need Sweet Stuff! It reminds me of a MAC LE lipstick that I failed to get in time before it went bah-bye.
Gosh – do these look matte and dry or what? Even though they seem to be easy to apply, the finish looks unforgiving.
Sweet Stuff is a gorgeous color. It looks too dry for my tastes, but I bet it would pair nicely with some of my sparkly glosses. I might have to give this a go because I don’t own anything quite this shade!
Sweet Stuff is really pretty, I’d love to have it, but buying from outside The EU comes with additional costs and hassle I don’t like. So, I’m sticking to my very low buy.
We used to be able to buy for something like $20 without having to pay tax, but when so many started buying cheap stuff from China they changed the rules, and now we have to pay taxes on everything, and the additional fee of more than $10 even if the value is so low that the tax itself is just like 1 cent.
ruh-roh. i ordered nice things before your review. perhaps i’ll get one that wears better.
