The colors in some of the duos are so similar ?

Very Light, Pink, slight pink undertones. Normal skin.

I’ve never really understood packaging such similar colors together. It might make sense if they were discounted sample sizes, so you could be like “Hmmm, what would look better on me? Hermosa or Southbound?” and try both before buying a full size of the one you like better. But in general, rather than having 2 nudes or 2 reds, I’d rather have a duo of a cool-toned nude and a cool red, or a cool pink and a cool berry.

Light Plus, Neutral undertones. Dry skin.

Now I am one who actually appreciates that. I know which type of shades work well and I’d rather keep them in the same family with a bit of difference.

Genevieve

Lightest, Pink undertones. Dry skin.

Get Money and Air Kiss look lovely shades, in fact they all look pretty good.

Seraphine

Light, Neutral undertones. Combination skin.

The ColourPop release du jour! “Can U Even” caught my attention, but my answer no, I can’t. I have too many lip products already.

Medium, Olive, neutral undertones. Combination skin.

There’s a few nice shades here, but nothing we haven’t seen ColourPop churn out before, I don’t think. I do like Southbound and Lucky Cat (because cats!)

The LNY duo is in this formula and it seems much more comfortable than the OG matte, and reasonably similar to their satins. I cannot believe I just said ‘OG ColourPop’ on the same day as a 1953 Revlon product. Head scratch.

So many warm tones! I’d love to see some more neutral or cool tones please, Colourpop. They look lovely though just not for me. ? Thank you for all the swatches! I can’t imagine how you do it!

Light Plus, Neutral undertones. Dry skin.

I’m not a fan of liquid lipstick, but these do not look dry on Christine’s lips. I’ll give it that. Oh, and the price ?

Van

Light Medium, Olive, neutral undertones. Normal-to-Oily skin.

I got the Lunar New Year set in the mail yesterday and the texture of these lipsticks reminds me of moussey, siliconey Korean lip tints (specifically Innisfree’s Vivid Cotton Ink). They’re what I wish the Ultra Blotted formula felt like, and I hope they come out with more colors.
