ColourPop Luv Me Not Pressed Powder Blush Review & Swatches
Luv Me Not
ColourPop Luv Me Not Pressed Powder Blush ($8.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a vivid, darker coral-red with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation–somewhat more coverage than marketed–that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out without difficulty.
The texture was soft, powdery but smooth to the touch, but I’d recommend using a lighter hand when initially picking up product to avoid too much excess kicked up in the pan. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly on me.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

Sooo pretty! Makes me think of my Mom’s geraniums and my ex’s Big Boy Jersey tomatoes! I think I kinda need it.
Oh this is pretty
What a beautiful color! The heart packaging is super cute.
I quite like this blush and I would agree that you would need to use a lighter hand at first. I particularly like the soft matte finish too.
Sorry to be off-topic, but what lip product are you wearing here? I’ve scoured the recent swatches and can’t guess, but it looks like a cool pink with pearl, which is my favorite color family and finish! I *just* bought the Bobbi Brown (blush, blue raspberry, cocoa, and buff) because of your gorgeous swatches, and they didn’t disappoint. I love them and I’m thrilled they look cooler on me!
I also really like these blushes, but I’ve noticed recently that every time I love a blush, it turns out I have all the dupes. Guess I’m predictable…
Urban Decay Rebel (discontinued, sigh) 🙁
WOW, that’s Rebel? Unbelievable! I’ve seen that on you a billion times (I exaggerate, but not by much given how many photos I’ve seen on here!), and it always seems to look different. It really fooled me that time.
Thanks for the info–now I just have to see if I still have mine.
This is a beautiful color on you! And totally off topic but you have looked so happy in all of the most recent photos! It makes me happy to see!
