I Think I Love You

Colour Pop I Think I Love You Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($16.00 for 0.36 oz.) contains 12 eyeshadows in warmer, neutral hues, plus a deep black, in a variety of finishes, though the palette runs frosted-to-metallic overall. I think the color story of this palette isn’t quite as versatile as other pre-made palettes from the brand, but the performance was still good overall with a few shades having a bit of fallout or weren’t quite as pigmented as the rest.

Better Bitter

Better Bitter is a soft gold with warm, orange undertones and a frosted sheen. It had a slightly looser, drier texture, though it really sang if applied with a dampened brush (and did not dry and get dusty afterward). It had good pigmentation that had a bit of fallout applied as-is. This shade lasted for seven and a half hours on me.

Formula Overview

$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours. The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

I love colourpop eyeshadows, I really think they’re some of the best. But here’s the problem: I live in Italy and buying colourpop is a real pain! The last order dispatches July the 21st. I’ve refreshed the tracking page for two full month. I’ve filled the customs form a month ago. On Friday the usps page tracked the parcel back in the USA. I still don’t know what happened but colourpop customer service just told me that the order is undeliverable and they will refund me. Now… The order contained the Fem Rosa eyeshadow palette and the Gimme More highlighters palette. And they were limited edition. And now they’re sold out. I mean how is it possible that good solid companies still don’t have a few delivery options? When I order through Tarte or Beautylish the order delivers so quickly and successfully, and it’s free delivery! Sorry I’m just frustrated, i’ve Waited for that package for more than 2 month…

I ordered to Germany and it arrived, but it was under 20 euros. I think everything that is more expensive is undeliverable since Colorpop doesn‘t meet some kind of EU make up import stabdards (not sure what exactly).

This is a pretty solid little palette for a fantastic price. I love the shade selection (although I did wish for a khaki or olive in there) and generally it rates very well.

This is basically their Yes Please palette in a shinier package with more brown. I love Yes Please, but they really need to shake things up and try a different color story next time.

I have so many dupes for these particular shadows, but this looks like a great palette. I’m sure it would make someone a lovely Christmas gift. Christine, I love the looks you put together.

I don’t need this palette, but I kinda want it. It looks pretty, decent quality, multiple looks spring to mind, cheap, etc… Love that there is a matte (or mostly) black eye shadow. Not everyone is super in to them, but I can’t consider a palette *complete* to me without a matte black.

For $16.00 it’s hard to go wrong unless you have most of these colors. I happen to be a palette junky so I’m pretty sure I have close to all of these. My 23 yr old granddaughter may love them though.

I could easily see this palette being perfect to keep in a travel/ overnight bag! Or to give as a gift to someone who is just starting to build their own stash and therefore may not have many neutrals. It may not have the sunset thematic of Yes, Please or the same exceptionally great quality, but still a nice little palette.

The palette is pretty but a I don’t need it and i saw in the comment Jean’s experience and that’s why i ordered from colourpop when I know someone goes to the Us . And they launched so much product this is overwhelming …

This is a very pretty palette! I don’t need these kinds of shades, so I’ll pass. I got the She palette and a few of their singles recently, and I have to say I’m seriously impressed with the quality.

We try to approve comments within 24 hours (and reply to them within 72 hours) but can sometimes get behind and appreciate your patience! 🙂 If you have general feedback, product review requests, off-topic questions, or need technical support, please contact us directly. Thank you for your patience!
