ColourPop Good as Gold Metallic Liquid Liners Reviews & Swatches
Bronze Touch
ColourPop Bronze Touch Metallic Liquid Liner ($9.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a deep bronzy brown with warm undertones and a glittery, slightly metallic finish. It had semi-opaque coverage in a single layer, while the texture was thin, fluid to work with, and delivered a fairly even result in a single layer (especially when just looking in the mirror vs. a close-up). It was quick to dry down, but I noticed the glittery finish tended to look heavier, almost thick, on my skin, so be careful to not diffuse or blend it out once it sets. It wore well for nine hours on me before I noticed a couple of glittery pieces had flaked off.

Gold Rush
ColourPop Gold Rush Metallic Liquid Liner ($9.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a light-medium gold with moderate, warm undertones and a glittering, metallic finish. It had semi-sheer coverage in a single layer, and while it wasn’t opaque, it had a bit more shine/shimmer that made it seem more pigmented at a glance (especially when viewed on the lash line from a normal viewing distance vs. close-up). The texture was more watery, so it seemed a little more fluid than ideal, and it would work better applied over a more opaque, solid matte eyeliner to add a glittering effect. It lasted well for nine hours but had a couple of glitter flakes after that.

The Rose Standard
ColourPop The Rose Standard Metallic Liquid Liner ($9.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a medium-dark, rosy copper with warm undertones and a glittering, metallic finish. It had good pigmentation in a single layer, and it worked best applied in a single, fluid layer and then picking up more product as necessary to keep the line going (I’d say one pull of product was enough for 3/4 to 1″ of length). The texture was thin without being too watery, so it was easy to control. It stayed on nicely for nine hours with a few glitter bits coming loose after that.

Money saved! I was definitely going to buy Bronze Touch until I saw that UD Starfire was a dupe for it, so having that one, I’m set. I’m actually surprised that I even have a good amount of Starfire left as I use it in many a coppery or rose-gold eye look.
I love the colours, especially the bronzey one, but I don’t like the formula. Looking at the dupe list, CP have this shade in their crayon liners that I think would work much better and be easier to use.
