ColourPop Glass Slipper Pressed Powder Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Glass Slipper
ColourPop Glass Slipper Pressed Powder Blush ($8.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a deep pink with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which was buildable to mostly opaque coverage with two to three layers. However, it was extremely difficult to work with as the color applied unevenly and did not want to diffuse or even out on my skin. It had a tendency to look like it was sitting my pores–little dots of pronounced color on my cheeks–which was particularly noticeable in person. The powder was drier, somewhat powdery, and only wore for six hours on me.

Formula Overview
$12.00/0.28 oz. - $42.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

Pretty colour but a D rating makes this a “no” for me (even if it were readily available where I live).
Colourpop has been putting out some very under-performing powder blushes lately. That’s so disappointing because I really like this brand, and this blush shade in particular is one that I’d be interested in buying if it had scored better.
Nothing worse in a blush than when it sits in the pores like some sort of off-colored freckles! I’m not sure what has begun to happen to ColourPop’s quality here, but it may have to do with their rapid fire eyeshadow palette releases….just my own honest opinion.
Pass on the blush with D rating. But I love the lipstick you have on! Looks great. What is it?
Come one, ColourPop, you can do better!
Wow, really surprised to see that rating. I was thinking this might be a good blush for me from the looks of it as I haven’t tried any of their powder blushes yet
