ColourPop Girl Please & Indulge Me Glowing Lip Review & Swatches
Girl Please
ColourPop Girl Please Glowing Lip ($7.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a darker plum with subtle, cool undertones and a luminous sheen. It had semi-sheer to medium color payoff that applied evenly and could be built up to mostly opaque coverage with two to three layers.
The texture was lightweight, smooth, and comfortable to wear as it glided on with more of a velvety-slip than an emollient one. It lasted well for four hours and was hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.06 oz. - $133.33 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "glowy" finish that is hydrating and gives buildable color with "buildable, glowy shine." They managed to feel more velvety and glide-on rather than melty and glossy, despite the end result having a moderate about of shine and glow. As a result, the formula was more like a balmy lipstick than a glossy lip balm.
The coverage ranged from semi-sheer to semi-opaque but were generally in the more medium, buildable range, which was in line with the brand's marketing. They were fruity in scent but had no discernible taste. The shades applied evenly, felt comfortable to wear, and typically lasted three to four hours with moderate hydrating.

Indulge Me
ColourPop Indulge Me Glowing Lip ($7.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light peach with warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had medium pigmentation in a single layer, which was buildable to semi-opaque coverage, though this shade could have applied more comfortably and readily to the inner area of my lips. It had a lightweight, velvety feel that had more of a silicone-like glide but still looked quite glossy on. This shade wore well for three hours and felt moisturizing.

All thumbs up for Girl Please! It just makes me think of juicy berries and springtime. Probably my favorite of the bunch.
I cannot quite say the same for Indulge Me. It would be concealer lips on me. Plus, I have MAC Shy Girl for when that mood strikes!
Girl Please is definitely looking like the better shade of the two and is such a vibrant shade.
Girl Please is lovely. I like that it’s a dupe for Burberry Boyesenberry, a lipstick I’ve been lusting for for some time. I’ll gladly buy this instead. I also really feel for the luminous, juice look of this one.
Indulge Me would spell disaster on me, unfortunately. I spent years getting a nude-ish lipstick selection, I find it really hard to get this type of colour to look good on me, whereas it’s very easy for me to wear almost any red lipstick. Most nudes makes me look very ill and so would this.
