ColourPop Get Leid & Jelly Fish Super Shock Cheeks Reviews, Photos, Swatches

ColourPop Get Leid Super Shock Cheek
ColourPop Get Leid + Jelly Fish Super Shock Cheek

ColourPop Get Leid Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a ” bright warm peach in a matte finish.” It’s a brightened, medium orange with a hint of red in it, and it has a matte finish. The texture was drier than I’ve encountered in ColourPop’s matte blushes, which made it harder to blend and even out on the skin, especially with fingertips. I felt that a brush made it easier to get even coverage, but it was slow-going as you really had to build it up in layers as the drier consistency resulted in less color picked up by the brush. Once the blush was on it, did wear for eight and a half hours on me. Dior Coral Sunset (002) (LE, $57.00) is lighter, powder. ColourPop Tasty (P, $8.00) is more shimmery, lighter. Tarte Fame (LE, $26.00) is a powder. ColourPop Bonus (P, $8.00) is slightly less red-toned. ColourPop Tonic (P, $8.00) is darker. Guerlain Petrouchka #9 (LE) is cooler-toned. Makeup Geek Summer Fling (P, $9.99) is powder. NARS Exumas (P, $39.00) is slightly darker. MAC Bad Girl Gone Good (LE, $21.00) is browner, more shimmery, powder. theBalm Swiss Dot (P, $22.00) is darker, powder. NARS Gilda (P, $30.00) is powder, darker. MAC Melba (P, $21.00) is more muted, powder. MAC Coppertone (P, $21.00) is more muted, powder. Illamasqua Expose (P, $26.00) is darker, powder. Chanel Frivole (P, $45.00) is slightly darker, powder. ColourPop Jelly Fish Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “bright red coral in a pearlized finish.” It’s a bright, medium-dark coral-red with pink and gold pearl. It is intensely pigmented–one of the most pigmented of all the blushes I’ve tried by the brand–and a little goes a very, very long way. I would highly recommend using a brush to apply this and build up as you need! The consistency is creamy, smooth, and very blendable on the skin. The finish reads more luminous with a sheen but not an overtly sparkly finish once blended. It wore well for nine hours on me before fading. NARS Panic (Right) (P) is lighter, powder. Surratt Beauty Ponceau (P, $32.00) is lighter, powder. IT Cosmetics Pretty in Peony (P, $24.00) is a powder, pinker. Clinique Ginger Pop (01) (P, $21.00) is more muted, powder. Chanel Intonation (69) (LE, $38.00) is less shimmery. theBalm Toile (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, powder. MAC Simmer (LE, $27.00) is pinker, powder. Tom Ford Beauty Flush (P, $55.00) is lighter, powder. NYX Pinched (P, $5.00) is less shimmery, powder. MAC Fleet Fast (LE, $21.00) is more muted, powder. Oh, my. As a huge fan of Hawaii, sea life, AND highly pigmented coral blushes… I… Well. Time to finally place an order with this company, methinks.

Aww, man! Get Leid got a decent grade, but I wish I could have had your review to reference before I ordered it! And I really wish I had seen Jellyfish on the website before selecting Get Leid! Oh well…there’s always the next order. 🙂

I’m wearing Jelly fish now! I sheered it out a bit more than you for daytime. I love how you have it true to pan..looks so nice both ways! I already own Get Leid too. But, I’ve not yet tried it. Thanks for the forewarning!

Ooooh. I sent in an order for some of ColourPop’s summer collection (specifically a few of their lippies and an eyeshadow and bronzer), but now I’m regretting not getting Jelly Fish while I was at it!

Oh well. Next order.

These are gorg! I have similar from them though, so I think I’ll pass. Grabbing other goodies!

And OMG! I just went to the site to finally put in my summer order and Coconut is out of stock! The one shadow I was truly lusting after in the summer release! Gah!

Thank you so much for the reviews on these 2! It honestly helped me to make up my mind on an orangey blush, actually 2: Quarters and Tasty. What did it was reading about how Get Leid wasn’t easy to work with and dry too. Jelly Fish is gorgeous though!

I’m looking for a lipstick the same finish and about the same color as Get Leid, maybe even a little brighter. Can you recommend anything?

Hi, Christine.. Beautiful as always 😉
Get Leid suits you very well against warm undertone of your skin.
Too bad it’s got a B-
I’m planning on buying Olive since I’m looking for a baby pink blush but hesitated because I have medium, neutral skin tone. Do you have any suggestions of baby pink colored blush that will show up on me? Thanks
