ColourPop Fly By Pixie Puff Highlighter Review & Swatches
Fly By
ColourPop Fly By Pixie Puff Highlighter ($16.00 for 0.44 oz.) is a soft, peachy copper base with a soft sheen paired with larger, gold micro-sparkle throughout. It had semi-sheer, buildable color coverage–I used a tapered highlighting brush to apply to my cheeks–which seemed in line with it as it was described as an all-over powder.
The texture was finely-milled, picked up well with the included pouf for all-over body application with a subtle deposit of shimmer and faint sparkle. When applied as a cheek product, I had no trouble applying and blending the product out on my skin. It wore well for eight hours on my cheeks, but it seemed to have slightly shorter wear worn on my collarbones near my neckline as it wasn’t transfer-resistant.
Every time I put the lid and pushed it downward, in place to close it, I had a significant amount of pixie dust (see what I did there?) fly every which way. It did this repeatedly, without fail, even though there was (seemingly) no excess product in the lid.

Pretty packaging. But I’ll pass ๐
Man, this would look gorgeous sitting on my dresser top! And softly pretty on my cheeks, too. It’s a definite “maybe”.
Such pretty packaging and the shade looks pretty, too, but it’s not something I can use.
I like a good shimmer powder all over and in the summer I particularly like it on my arms and legs. This is a beautiful shade and subtle enough to work but, and it is a big but, I can’t handle powder poofing out all over. My makeup station gets dirty enough as it is. I guess I could stand in my shower and poof it all over! I do love the packaging as I love butterflies and it would look really pretty on my vanity.
I saw what you did there!!
??
No, as much as the packaging is pretty, I think it would be too awkward to use and the shade doesn’t stand out for me.
Ah, this would work well for me in S. Florida, where itโs summer all year round. Want this. Looks great to use on the body. I had something called Kitten along time ago. I loved it.
