ColourPop Champagne Bubbles Liquid Highlighter Review & Swatches
Champagne Bubbles
ColourPop Champagne Bubbles Liquid Highlighter ($12.00 for 0.30 fl. oz.) is a light-medium gold with moderate, warm yellow undertones and a soft, pearly sheen. The finish was subtle with a touch of sheen more apparent in person–very my-skin-but-better–with slight, yellow-based warmth.
The consistency was very fluid, more watery than gel-like, and spreadable but had sheered out quickly, so it worked as a standalone highlighter but also mixed with foundation, moisturizer, or primer (which is how it is marketed). I didn’t find that mixing it in with foundation impacted the longevity or application, and it did add to the general dewiness in the end result.
Interestingly enough, the brand cautioned that it layered “well under makeup or over foundation” but said “powder products must be applied after,” which I would agree with. I didn’t have issues with it lifting up my base product as it had the spreadability necessity to skim over foundation and the like, but I might be more caution with a very matte finish or powdered skin. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading slightly.

Not bad! But because I have the Marc Jacobs Dew You Dew Drops, I’m pretty well set with a golden illuminating highlighter/mixer, so this is a pass for me.
Now this one is really pretty and it looks so lovely on you Christine.
Thanks for describing whether or not the product lifts the foundation underneath as that is my main concern with liquid highlighter!
