ColourPop Cami & Lumiere Lippie Stix Reviews & Swatches
Cami
ColourPop Cami Matte X Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a medium, rosy mauve with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had a smooth, velvety texture that glided across my lips with ease but never felt wet or slippery–creamy but matte, powdery in a way. The color coverage was opaque in one layer and applied evenly, though the drier, matte finish resulted in some product pulling away at my lip lines, which is something I find happens often enough with creamier, but matte, formulas on me. It wore well for five and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating to me.

Formula Overview
$6.00/0.0352 oz. - $170.45 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "full-coverage" with a "super matte" finish that has a "lightweight and velvety feel." I'd agree with all of those things--most shades were opaque while a few were more semi-opaque to mostly opaque. The texture has a silicone-heavy feel to it, so it has the velvety slip that used to be more typical of face primers than lip products, but this silicone-heavy type of formula has made its way into lip products to give a more matte finish with a smoother, more velvety consistency. The consistency feels a bit denser, though it remains lightweight, and usually delivers even coverage in a single stroke that doesn't tug. The formula wears anywhere from four to eight hours on me, and it is typically neither drying nor hydrating. There's a soft, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Lumiere
ColourPop Lumiere Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a medium-dark mauve with neutral-to-cool undertones and a satin finish. It had rich pigmentation in one layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without tugging. The consistency was lightweight, lightly creamy with a touch of tackiness, and comfortable to apply and to wear, but there was a touch of product that sat in my deeper lip lines, though it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. This shade stayed on nicely for five and a half hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$7.00/0.0352 oz. - $198.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "full coverage" with a "long-wearing, ultra comfortable" feel. Because there are quite a few finishes in the range, some of the results depend more on the finish.
The matte finish tends to be thinner, drier, and firmer in the tube, and they can, occasionally, tug on my lips noticeably during application, but usually have good pigmentation and long wear; they range from non-drying to somewhat drying.
The Creme finish has a creamier, more emollient quality to it that has excellent pigmentation, comfortable wear, and good wear time (four to six hours); it tends to be a little hydrating but occasionally suffers from issues where product gathers in lip lines or they don't go on as evenly as they could. There's a soft, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Lumiere sure is a pretty one! I’m actually AMAZED that I’ve yet to order it after all this time, because I really do love me a great MLBB lipstick!
Cami is similar, but I oddly have around 6 dupes for it…a few of which don’t quite read as dupes to my eye. MAC So Select, in particular.
I have both of these shades! Lumiere was in my first-ever Colourpop order. It’s very pretty and comfortable to wear. I don’t like Cami as much because the drier matte finish. And, as I’ve said in previous posts, I dislike the packaging of this line.
Lumiere still one of my favourite LippieStix.
I can see why it’s a popular one!
I love that you’re doing the lippie stix collection! I’ve developed irritation to a lot of lip formulas (and within my own collection) and it’s a pain to find wearable dupes of colors I love! I can still wear the non matte version of these so I’m excited! Plus, these won’t break the bank for me!
These are both firm favourites of mine – I did my sister-in-laws wedding makeup last year and I used these colours on the bridesmaids – I took spares they could keep and touch up on the day and they LOVED them.
Lumiere is a great shade that can be worn all year round. Very pretty.
These are such great, everyday colors. I have UD dupes for them, but if I didn’t, I’d buy them in a heartbeat.
