ColourPop Brills Lippie Stix
ColourPop Brills Lippie Stix ($5.00 for 0.0357 oz.) is described as a “true cool toned lavender [with a satin finish].” It’s a light-medium pink lavender with cool undertones and a satin finish–it’s pretty much exactly as described. The consistency was lightly creamy with enough slip that it glided over lips without tugging or dragging, and it was comfortable to both wear and apply. I didn’t have any issues getting a smoother, even edge when applying directly from the tube either. It wore well for four and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating. ColourPop Fetch Lippie Stix ($5.00 for 0.0357 oz.) is described as a “perfect mid-tone warm pink [with a satin finish].” It’s a brightened, medium pink with very subtle warm tones. It almost looks cool-toned on me at times. It had full color coverage and went on evenly, though the texture was drier than Brills so I found it a little drying at the end of wear. The texture of the product doesn’t feel dry or stiff, so there’s no dragging during application. All in all, the color wore well for four and a half hours. NARS Marisa (P, $32.00) is cooler-toned. Givenchy Hibiscus Exclusif (302) (P, $36.00) is darker, warmer. Bite Beauty Damask (LE, $28.00) is warmer, glossier. MAC Pinkfringe (LE, $16.00) is more shimmery, lighter. Estee Lauder Powerful (P, $30.00) is glossier. Bite Beauty Sweety (LE, $24.00) is warmer. YSL Caress Pink (9) (P, $34.00) is darker, warmer, glossier. Buxom Mistress (LE, $21.00) is warmer. I just ordered a ton of colour pop again!! I included both of these. I do get the matching lip liners.I feel that it significantly . I seriously cannot stay away from their lippies especially.I do love the shadows too. But,at 38,the glitter is hard to do.I did throw in “mittens” after seeing your review. I don’t”need” any of these. But, compared to Nars audacious which has been my go to,I feel these are pretty close…and way cheaper. Wish they would include more swatches on the site though.

Did you see they launched a bunch of new matte shades? (Though I consider their matte to often be more semi-matte to satin!)
I did! They added Mittens to their permanent along with another,Lala maybe? Anyway,from the new mattes I ordered Bandit and Mittens.
oh..and Hustle! Already have To-A-T, Roulette,Doe-a-deer, and effect that came in a split pot with Fleek in one of the holiday sets. They are nice. It’s just so hard to purchase their stuff without really looking all over at the reviews,blogs,videos for swatches . I may have gotten a couple of others that look nice.But, by then I was tired of looking for swatches,lol AND I have more than my fair share of matte(especially neutral shades)which is where they seem to lie . I do hope they come up with a wider color range in the mattes. I am guessing they will. they seem to be getting quite the following.:)

No problem, Bonnie! 🙂 You definitely might get close if you mix – and since you have both, no reason not to give it a try first! A lip liner with a little more pink/warmth in it might also work with Lavender!
I’m curious how important you think it is to get the matching liner with these? I bought a couple (one is a bust because it matches my lip color so perfectly you can’t even tell I’m wearing anything!) But they seem to push the matching liners pretty hard, so I was wondering if I need to buy those too.
I’ve never used their lip pencils, so I’m not sure! A few readers have mentioned they like using them with the matching lip liners, though!

Frills is quite pretty. Initially, it reminded me of Viva Glam Nicki 2, but then I realized it had more pink it. More wearable on lighter skin tones than Nicki 2, I’d suspect.

I have fetch, Frida, and lumiere in the lippie sticks and really like all three. Frida is my favorite. I’m excited to see what else colour pop comes up with in the coming year.

The pigmentation in these is amazing! these are the perfect ‘candy’ colours, which given the price of these lipsticks is really nice if you wanted to play with those colours but aren’t sure if they’ll suit you. The world meeds more of such things, I feel…

Hey Christine! I tried comparing them in the swatch gallery and was wondering if Fetch is a possible dupe for MAC Viva Glam Nicki lipstick. Due to slight lighting differences, I couldn’t tell how close they were, but they looked like they could be very similar. Either way Fetch’s texture is probably way better, Nicki was horrible IMHO.
