ColourPop Berry Jam Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($9.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a new, berry-themed color story that included two shimmery shades and two matte shades designed to coordinate with the brand’s temporary hair color range. All four shades were pigmented, blendable, and lasted for around eight hours on me and were consistent with the brand’s past eyeshadow formula (so mattes were a little powdery but still easy to work with).

Jam Packed is a medium pink with moderate, warm undertones and warmer, lighter green-gold shifting shimmer.
- Opaque pigmentation
- Smooth, moderately emollient consistency without being too dense
- Picked up readily with dry brush, blended out well
- Long-wearing (8 hours before fading visibly)

The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Because I have dupes for all of these shades that are mostly found within Natasha Denona Sunrise and Retro Midi, plus one from PML, I’m safe from any temptation to buy this quad.
As the dupe list shows, Jam Packed is a shade that Colourpop does very often but they do it well.
A pretty good quad full of the shades that CP does the most.
