Coloured Raine Cameo Satin Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, medium rosy mauve with neutral-to-warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque pigmentation that glided on smoothly and yielded even coverage. There was a smidgen of color that pulled into my deeper lip lines but wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The formula is supposed to be “super moisturizing” with “one swipe” coverage. I found it was more lightly hydrating overall, but it was comfortable to wear over the four and a half hours it lasted for. The lipstick had a faint, waxy scent to it but no discernible taste.

Foxy Lady
Coloured Raine Foxy Lady Satin Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a deep, rosy plum with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, creamy texture that was easy to work with and glide across the lips as it did not tug or drag. The formula felt slightly denser but did not actually feel heavy or thick on the lips. It wore well for four and a half hours and was lightly hydrating.

LOL…sometimes I hope the product will get a less than perfect rating so I can give myself a good reason to not spend the money. I can pretty much talk myself out of adding a 21st MAC lipstick to my collection, but a gorgeous color that’s vegan and cruelty free by an indie cosmetic company whose products I have not bought yet…a perfect storm! Maybe next paycheck.

Love both shades loads! Although, I have pretty much chosen UD Crisis a while back to be a probable near future for next lipstick purchase, so who knows? There is just *something* about the UD cream formula that I really enjoy.

Both of these are really pretty! However I am in this weird lipstick phase where I either want to pay $6 for a lipstick or $35 lol. Therefore, I’m on a lipstick break!

I really love Foxy Lady. I have purchased eye shadows from Colored Raine and their Colored Raine palette but haven’t purchased any lippies. I love the E/S and use them frequently. Will have to order this one to try the formula. They both scored really well.

I think these lipsticks show that you don’t have to spend megabucks to get an excellent quality lipstick nowadays. They both look lovely, even though they are not my shades.

The swatches kind of showed how promising the formula is to me as well. The pigmentation and edge skip is something I see in a nice creme formula. I don’t have any close dupes to these shades.
I like both of these.. need to run a comparison of Cameo to ABH Dead Roses.. I like these shades when they have more rose than brown.
