Clinique Warm Up Cheek Pop Palette Review & Swatches
Warm Up
Clinique Warm Up Cheek Pop Palette ($29.50 for 0.36 oz.) is a new, limited edition trio of blushes with warmer undertones. The three shades performed consistently with the Cheek Pop formula: denser, firmer textures that work better with moderately dense brushes, but then they go on effortlessly, blend seamlessly, and have a skin-like finish that sits well on skin.

Blush Pop
Blush Pop is a light-medium pink with soft, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had buildable coverage from semi-opaque to opaque. The texture felt smooth to the touch, dense and a bit firmer, so it would work best with a denser brush. There was no powderiness, and the powder applied evenly and blended out seamlessly for a skin-like finish. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading slightly.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.12 oz. - $175.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as “vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless.” The texture was smooth, soft, and dense, so it was never powdery in the pan or on the skin. The blush had good color payoff that was easily sheered out (or you could apply less, as the denser texture makes that easy to control).
It’s the kind of texture that almost blends itself as soon as you start applying and working it onto the skin. The finish became more luminous as I blended the powder onto the skin, but it was never shiny or overly shimmery, so it always looked smooth on my skin and did not emphasize pores or my skin’s texture. Most shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

Blush Pop
LELimited Edition. $21.00.
Sorbet Pop
Sorbet Pop is a very light peach with strong, warm orange undertones and a luminous finish. The pigmentation was opaque in a single layer, while the consistency was denser, firmer in the pan but smooth and never powdery. With this type of formula, I’d recommend using a moderately dense, more flat/dome-shaped brush, to pick up product, but the product goes on beautifully on skin–even, smooth coverage that almost blends itself. The color lasted well for eight and a half hours on me before showing signs of wear.

Sorbet Pop
LELimited Edition. $21.00.
Cola Pop
Cola Pop is a rich, reddened plum with subtle, warm undertones and a natural sheen. It was richly pigmented–it’s one of the deepest-hued shades in the Cheek Pop formula, and it is part of the permanent range–but the denser texture made it easy to pick up less product if desired. The powder was smooth to the touch, firm without being stiff or difficult to work with, as the product applied well to bare skin and blended out with little effort. It stayed on nicely for nine hours on me before I noticed any fading.

Because I do have Cola Pop as well as the Peach highlighter in Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette 02, I’m now very inspired to use them together for a a glowy, yet natural cheek!
I like the left and right sides of this (Cola Pop is one of those blushes I always plan to get “one day”) but the middle one is just a NO for me (this happens to me so much with cheek/blush palettes).
These are so pretty in the pan and they have a gorgeous finish – I love Cola a lot but I think the others would be way too light on me.
Great combination! I have Cola Pop, so it wouldn’t make sense for me.
I love the quality in this gem from Clinique, but the shades are not for me. It’s good to see Clinique putting out some high quality products.
Late reply, but there’s also a “Cool Down” palette with three cool toned shades, if you are interested. 🙂
Wow these look so luminous and gorgeous on you! I don’t even wear much blush but I’m finding myself wanting both this and the cool one. I am pale so not sure which would look better. Seeing them on you, this formula looks way superior to most blushes I have tried.
I’d vote for Cola and the rest of these blushes as what put Clinique back on the map. Cola this week, for sure!
living in Germany means most of the holiday releases are not available for purchase.
the same goes for the clinique trio palettes! last year I was disappointed that i missed out on the get cheeky palette!
HOWEVER, I was in Chicago two weeks and I snagged the “get the glow trio” on a whim. I was feeling a bit guilty because I don’t really need a blush or a bronzer! However, I am so so so HAPPY with my purchase. I definitely love it! such a high quality! and also it’s so discrete yet makes my face luminous, all the while looking naturelle!
so yes, sorry for giving glowing reviews for a totally different palette, but that’s already more Clinique than what I was hoping to get this year 🙂
Why do these always include a shade that I already own? LOL Money saved, I suppose.
Is there a particular blush brush you’d recommend for these products? I have a hard time getting them to show up on my face, and I’m super fair skinned.
There’s not a specific one, no, just something moderately dense!
