Clinique Lunar Pop Powder Pop Flower Highlighter Review & Swatches
Lunar Pop
Clinique Lunar Pop Powder Pop Flower Highlighter ($32.50 for 0.31 oz.) is a light, peachy beige with moderate, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. There was very, very faint pink and gold pearl sprinkled throughout, but it didn’t create much dimension or shift in person.
Per the brand, it’s supposed to have “buildable” coverage and a “visibly dewy finish.” It had medium, buildable coverage–up to mostly opaque with two to three layers–that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out effortlessly along the edges. The powder had a smooth, dense, and firmer consistency that is typical of the more gel-powder types of formula (and other Pop powders from the brand).
You’ll want to use a moderately dense brush to pick up product and use tapping motions. There was no powderiness, and the powder looked more “melted” when buffed into the skin; both of these tend to be signature to the gel-powder type of formula. It stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

This looks lovely! Not something I need, but it’s still tempting.
Wish it still had the rat that look like a mouse! Either way, I really do love this one. But do I love it more than Nabla Ozone? Now that’s a good question!
You are right. That was so very very cute. I used to have hamsters as a kid and loved them. Brought back sweet memories.
Also gorgeous. UGH do I need BOTH??
Which is less represented with what you already own?
I’m more likely to wear the bronzer for sure. To be honest Highlighter hasn’t been part of my routine for a while now.
Better the bronzer than the highlighter if you were getting one, IMO, then! 🙂
I neeeeeeded the dupes on this one. If it was a different year I’d have gone for it.
I really love the look of this one. I feel very much in the need for a “pick me up” (how many million people feel the same right now?) I may pick this one up.
This looks so beautiful – a very soft finish too. Clinique has done these so well.
These products with beautiful embossing make me want to not disturb them with a bruush. I love this color and will add to my list.
This is just so damn pretty and happy. Silicone-free to boot!
Do you find the gel powders dry up over time? How are your old cheek pops holding up?
It’s not a wet/moist formula, so I’ve never noticed it drying up since it’s always felt like a powder to me!
