Cle de Peau Persimmon & Perfect Peach Cream Blushes Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Persimmon
Cle de Peau Persimmon Cream Blush ($60.00 for 0.21 oz.) is medium coral-orange with warm undertones and a satin finish. I felt like it looked more coral the more I blended out, whereas initially it appeared more orange-toned. It had sheer to medium, buildable coverage that applied evenly to the skin. The texture was smooth, thin, lightweight, and just a bit emollient initially but felt more like a powder once it hit my skin. The color wore well for eight hours on me.
The formula is supposed to have “the perfect touch of sheer luminous color” that can be applied with fingertips or a brush. The consistency is firmer in the pot; it’s definitely a cream-based product, but only a little comes away from the surface and dries down within twenty seconds of being applied to the skin. The coverage was semi-sheer, buildable up to semi-opaque coverage. I liked applying these with either a small, synthetic stippling brush or my fingertips, though my preferred method was using a brush to initially apply the color and then lightly patting the edges with my fingertips. On me, the blushes lasted between seven and nine hours on my normal-to-dry skin. The formula is rose-scented, and I get a faint hint of it when worn.

Perfect Peach
Cle de Peau Perfect Peach Cream Blush ($60.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a muted, medium rosy brown with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had sheer pigmentation that was buildable to medium coverage with two to three layers. The blush felt creamy in the pot, but it immediately turned into more of a powder-like product on the skin. It was easy to blend out along the edges, and it wore nicely for seven hours on me.

Christine I love the way this shade looks on you it is so warm and pretty. I also like the #3 persimmon but I think it is a little to Bright for my liking but if I owned both I probably would mix them together. I purchased # 2 Pale Fig but this might be the next in line for me to pick up. But I also have La Prairie Cellular Radiance Cream Blush in several shades one being Peach Glow which is similar so I might hold off on the Perfect Peach for awhile. I am glad they are permanents.
Do you prefer one formula over the other between La Prairie and Cle de Peau?
Man, I’m loving these cream blushes! They all just look so wearable and natural!
They are very natural!
I normally stay far away from ANYTHING peach.
But perfect Peach looks so so beautiful!!! I dig it!!
Yay! 🙂
Persimmon looks so springtime perfect! Reminds me of my MAC Spring Flock for some reason, even though they have very different formulations and finishes. Time for that and UD Streak to go into my rotation now that we’re prematurely toasty warm, I think!
Perfect picks for the heat we’re getting!
Both are really pretty, but Perfect Peach is my favourite.
Perfect Peach is very wearable for fair to medium skin tones, I think!
I can tell from the swatches that this product is worth the money!! I love that cream-to-powder finish!!
The finish is fab!
The peach shade is just perfect – very subtle and lovely.
It is!
Was the lower rating on the Peach due to pigmentation?
The wear time was shorter!
I’m in love with the shades, the pigmentation, and the finish! Not so much the price tag, but what can you expect from Cle de Peau? I’ll probably skip these, unfortunately.
True – nothing at Cle de Peau is what one would say is affordable!
