Charlotte Tilbury Sweet Stiletto Lip Lustre ($22.00 for 0.12 fl. oz.) is a medium, true coral with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. NARS Ophelia (P, $26.00) is more shimmery, pinker. NARS Stolen Kisses (P, $26.00) is less glossy. MAC Be Nice (P, $22.00) is similar. Urban Decay Streak (P, $20.00) is sheerre. MAC Persistent Peach (P, $19.50) is lighter. MAC Everlasting Nude (LE, $19.50) is darker. Chanel Mystery (P, $29.50) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

The Lip Lustre formula is supposed to give “mirror-shine” and “the illusion of sculpted, 3-dimensional, [and a] voluptuous pout.” On the brand’s website, it also says “pure, un-adulterated colour in an XXL creamy texture.” I also watched her video announcing the product, and it seems like it is supposed to be a more pigmented product–lacquer not lip gloss. It had semi-opaque color coverage that went on fairly evenly, and it had a lightly thick but not heavy consistency that was mostly non-sticky. It had a vanilla scent and was comfortable to wear. Sweet Stiletto lasted for four hours on me and it was lightly hydrating while worn. I was disappointed to see that the gloss only contains 0.12 fl. oz. of product, which is about half the size of most full-sized glosses, though the price seems to reflect this (compared to the lipstick, which is priced at $32).

Even though the size is on the smaller, I actually like that. For those of us with more makeup than we need, who can really finish a lipgloss before it expires? I’d rather more companies half their sizes and half their prices (though this lipgloss by CT still more expensive than some other full sized glosses it’s more “reasonable” compared to some of her other products)

It’s definitely not a bad thing. It’s not GREAT, but $22 is better than paying $32 if you don’t use your glosses up anyway. At $22/0.12 fl. oz., it works out to be $183/oz. and if it had been more average-sized, it probably would have been $32/0.20 fl. oz. and $160/oz.
