Charlotte Tilbury Sweet Stiletto Lip Lustre Review, Photos, Swatches
Charlotte Tilbury Sweet Stiletto Lip Lustre
Charlotte Tilbury Sweet Stiletto Lip Lustre ($22.00 for 0.12 fl. oz.) is a medium, true coral with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. NARS Ophelia (P, $26.00) is more shimmery, pinker. NARS Stolen Kisses (P, $26.00) is less glossy. MAC Be Nice (P, $22.00) is similar. Urban Decay Streak (P, $20.00) is sheerre. MAC Persistent Peach (P, $19.50) is lighter. MAC Everlasting Nude (LE, $19.50) is darker. Chanel Mystery (P, $29.50) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
The Lip Lustre formula is supposed to give “mirror-shine” and “the illusion of sculpted, 3-dimensional, [and a] voluptuous pout.” On the brand’s website, it also says “pure, un-adulterated colour in an XXL creamy texture.” I also watched her video announcing the product, and it seems like it is supposed to be a more pigmented product–lacquer not lip gloss. It had semi-opaque color coverage that went on fairly evenly, and it had a lightly thick but not heavy consistency that was mostly non-sticky. It had a vanilla scent and was comfortable to wear. Sweet Stiletto lasted for four hours on me and it was lightly hydrating while worn. I was disappointed to see that the gloss only contains 0.12 fl. oz. of product, which is about half the size of most full-sized glosses, though the price seems to reflect this (compared to the lipstick, which is priced at $32).
Sweet Stiletto
PPermanent. $22.00.

I really don’t know 3D lipsticks should look like but this color suits you!!!
LOL! I think the effect is just making the lips look plumper so they “pop” from the face more.
It’s a very cute and pretty shade, I definitely like it. I’m just not wearing gloss a lot lately though. I’m going through a lipstick phase.
Gotcha! 🙂
I’m not a big lip gloss person, but this lipgloss is actually gorgeous! It’s sad that it contains such a small amount.
On the upside, at least the price is only $22 (most brands price lipgloss and lipstick the same, but her lipsticks are $32).
Those colors flatter you so well; Love it!
What blush are you wearing?
THE MAKEUP LOOK
On face: Guerlain Parure de Lumiere Foundation, Urban Decay Naked Loose Finishing Powder, Charlotte Tilbury Love Glow Blush.
What a pretty MLBB lipgloss! I really like the blush on you as well — very glowy!
Thanks, Carolyn! 😀
I love the blush with the lip gloss a LOT! You look beautiful Christine! wish the formula was better though
Aw, thanks, Divya! I liked it, but I’m wondering if some of the darker/brighter shades might be better.
I really like the packaging and the colour.
The color is nice!
Even though the size is on the smaller, I actually like that. For those of us with more makeup than we need, who can really finish a lipgloss before it expires? I’d rather more companies half their sizes and half their prices (though this lipgloss by CT still more expensive than some other full sized glosses it’s more “reasonable” compared to some of her other products)
It’s definitely not a bad thing. It’s not GREAT, but $22 is better than paying $32 if you don’t use your glosses up anyway. At $22/0.12 fl. oz., it works out to be $183/oz. and if it had been more average-sized, it probably would have been $32/0.20 fl. oz. and $160/oz.
Very pretty, but not tempting enough to pay $22 for that little product.
I totally understand! 🙂
This is a very pretty gloss!
I like the color!
I think that’s a bit warm for me but perfect for you. I also like how it’s lightly milky without to much settling. Hard to pull off!
It is so hard to get a lighter gloss that doesn’t settle!
The color looks nice on your lips. But these days I’m going more toward lipstick
Totally understand!
Love the gloss on you and I am diggin’ that CT Love Glow Blush on you. Fabulous!
Thanks, Lisa!
It’s pretty in the overall look, but the small amount of lipline-sinking up close (because of the slight milkiness) would destroy my inner obsessive compulsive, LOL!
LOL! I can see that any settling is a deal-breaker for you!
this is beautiful on you, christine!
Thanks a lot, Anne!
Just playing catch up with some posts.. we’re swamped here. I have to say I think this is a crazy price for the volume, but I hate paying big for gloss anyway. Thanks so much for pointing out the size difference. I would be seriously pissed to open this up and find..mini gloss.
Like I’d rather pay $22 for gloss than $32, since it’s unlikely I’ll use it up, but yeah… still seems low! Then again you have MAC Dazzleglass and Cremesheen Glass with half the product here.
I don’t think it’s a colour for me, really, but that said, it’s very pretty and it suits you so well, Christine.
Thanks as always, Helene 🙂
