Charlotte Tilbury Champagne Glow Glow Glide Highlighter Review & Swatches
Champagne Glow
Charlotte Tilbury Champagne Glow Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter ($48.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a light peach with warmer, more orange undertones and a luminous sheen. It appeared a touch pinkish at the edges when actually applied to my skin.
- Opaque pigmentation
- Smooth, lightly dense texture, not powdery
- Picked up evenly with a brush, blended out well
- Did not emphasize skin texture
- Long-wearing (8 hours)

Formula Overview
$48.00/0.24 oz. - $200.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "rich pigment pay-off" with a "skin-gilding satin texture" that does not "crease, cake, or settle into fine lines." The highlighter formula was smooth, slightly dense but not overly firm or stiff, and picked up evenly with a brush. They had mostly opaque to opaque color coverage, which remained blendable and easy to work with, so one could use a lighter hand to get sheerer, more buildable coverage if desired.
A few shades were slightly prone to emphasizing skin texture at higher opacity levels, so it was a formula that is more ideal for smoother skin if one wanted to wear it at semi-opaque or higher coverage; otherwise, it should be suitable at semi-sheer to medium coverage on skin with some texture.
Worth noting, the actual product pans spin in circles inside the compact. The compact itself appears that they are intended to be refillable, as there's a small hole on the back to insert a pin (or similar) to pop out the pan, but it shouldn't be spinning during use since that makes for a more annoying experience to use it!

I totally get the hype surrounding the actual highlighters themselves, as this one is simply perfect! However; as I have heard several YT’ers mention, the component is not her usual quality, and this has me on team Rare Beauty just a bit more.
It looks fantastic on you! The swatches seemed so same old same old.. but it translates beautifully. I see the pink and itβs pretty! π
This was for Christine.. βputer shenanigans.
Team rare beauty is excellent π
So glad you mentioned about the pan spinning! Thought it was so annoying and just me when I tried to swatch.
I heard rattling when I was opening, and I was like hmm… and then I had them spin on me, lol! I was like, who let this go through?
I just looked in the Formula Overview and saw the mention of the spinning pans. I did see a few reviews at Sephora.ca that also mentioned this and thought it was a bit of a fluke…maybe one or two people got pans that weren’t glued in properly. But whether it’s a poor packing job or intentional, it would be really annoying to me too so maybe I’ll pass….it’s not like I need another highlighter.
haha! Yeah, all of the shades I bought had that issue, so I definitely think it’s an issue.
Yeah, the “spinning pan-gate” is for real, Christine! EVERY single YT’er has made mention of this crummy packaging. Where the heck was R&D?
It looks beautiful on you Christine.

This highlighter shade is beautiful. I heard that the rattling around may have to due with a magnet; I heard one report of the highlighter falling out of the case. I don’t know how this got past the testing phase
