Chanel Vamp Attitude Collection for Holiday 2015

In 1994, a uniquely striking LE VERNIS shade was revealed on the Chanel Fall/Winter Ready-to-Wear runway, and a legend was born. When the polish debuted to the public a year later, it caused an instant sensation. Now, as a celebration of the shade that became an icon, the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio introduces a gleaming Holiday collection that pays tribute to the rebellious black-red, ‘Vamp.’

As someone who loves a vamp lip, this will definitely be the holiday collection I purchase. I’ll probably skip on the quad, even though it’s lovely I just don’t think I’ll get that much use out of it.

This looks very pretty,. The quad looks like it will be the Harmonie du Soir formla, gorgeous. Love the nail lacquers too, and the blush. Will be struggling not to purchase some of these beauties!

My heart just sank to my stomach. I have a recent newfound love for Chanel. When they get it right, it’s just so pretty and feels like luxury. This is beautiful. I can honestly say If the reviews serve it, I will be trying to buy this entire collection. I came on here to look at the Lorac Mega Pro 2 again to see if I can make myself stop wanting it. Okay, done. Lately , I have been wishing for most collections to not have all A’s so I don’t want it all for my wallet’s sake. Not the case on this one.

Holeeee sh**! Does this make me feel old! 21 years ago, and I still have the blush. Maybe the l/s. Better check on ’em. The prob is, I don’t even think of them as old. If it’s ok, gonna use it today, w/ an old Fire Down Below. Do today’s readers even know that FDB is a reference to a Bob Seeger (?) song? Whatta time warp! Might as well be a contemporary of Besame Red. (1920…). 90s sure had some ground breakers.

Ooh, what a great collection! I’m really want to see swatches of that quad (what an interesting color combo) and the sparkly gold nail polish. Eeek!! That sparkly vampy gloss is calling me!

At first glance, I thought they were rereleasing Topkapi (but we know Chanel doesn’t really do that). That eyeshadow formula is heavenly though. I definitely want to see this in store or more swatches online before I buy. Rose Fusion looks interesting! I’m wondering if its a shimmer or metallic.

Oh my gosh, that quad looks so interesting and with some really beautifully paired up shades! That and the Rouge Noir lip gloss have me eagerly awaiting their reviews. I love deep vampy colors!

I no longer care about any other brands holiday offerings. Over the moon about the quad, the blush, a couple of the lippies & polishes. And what’s even better? 30 days notice to squirrel away….perfect! Thanks for posting this.

Holy Sheeeeet!!!!!! Vamp was my very first Chanel purchase and at the time I felt like a giddy millionaire paying $18 for a nail polish lol I don’t even think I can put into words what that first lux product I bought with my own money, from my own grown-up job, living in my first apartment all on my own felt like. I was kinda precocious considering I started asking for Vogue subscriptions in the 5th grade for Christmas….we lived in a trailer park. Talk about a dreamer! I worked so long and so hard to make my life better and Vamp has always been a link in my memories between my past and my first steps into my future (Altho that future was waaaaay back in 94 )I’m so thrilled and sentimental right now! I’m going to splurge like a maniac on this collection! Awwwwe nostalgia plus that quad…..looooove!

Kate Avatar

Yay Bonnie!!! I remember the first time I saw Vamp too! I was watching the Larry King show on TV, interviewing Sandra Bernhard who was sooooo urbane and suave and of that moment. I was staring at her fingers, thinking WHAT IS THAT NAIL POLISH??? Just then, Larry King said, “What is that nail polish?” LoL. Sandra said “Vamp” and continued with whatever she was talking about.

Trish Avatar

Nice! I’m in for the quad and oh, about 4 other items… Not sure where I’ll draw the line but I really loved the original Rouge Noir Kohl pencil and used it till it was a teeny stub! Can’t wait till you swatch them Christine.

Alison Avatar

Well, well, doesn’t that quad look familiar… 😉

Alright, the bronze shade looks more sable and the shades slightly different this time, but personally, I hope the formula is similar to Topkapi! That quad was so pretty, and I would have had no issue with a rare re-promote of something that good. I wouldn’t mind if they brought back things like Topkapi and Notorious every now and then.

Alyssa Avatar

Illusion d’ombre rouge noir reminds me of Ebloui which was discontinued. Looks like a rich, sultry shade. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.

El Avatar

How curious that they didn’t do this homage last year, for the 20th anniversary.

Love the Illusion d’Ombre. Might have to get the nail varnish; I was in university when the original Vamp launched and I wanted it, but really didn’t have the money, boo.

I was doing a search on google, looking for a dupe for Chanel Vamp lipstick. I use to wear this color everyday when it first came out. This is an early present for myself. I am getting at least four tubes of this. I was searching for YEARS for a dupe and nothing is quite like this color. Thank you Chanel!!!!
