Chanel Tweed Cuivre (01) Les 4 Ombres Tweed Multi-Effect Eyeshadow Quad ($88.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a new, limited edition warm-toned neutral color story with four shimmery shades that ranged from a smoother, metallic finish to a more sparkly one. Three of the shades performed well, but the sparkly shade (fourth in the quad) was sheerer, drier, and more prone to fallout, so it deviated noticeably. For someone who doesn’t mind that shade being more like a “topper” and willing to apply with a fingertip or a dampened brush, then it would be okay.

The formula is supposed to have "vibrant, pigment-rich eyeshadow" that is "long-lasting" and utilizes "plant oils" for a "smooth texture." They have a creamier feel to the point where most of them felt like a cream-powder hybrid formulation rather than strictly powdery. They tended to apply and feel like powder once they were applied to bare skin and blended out.
Most of the eyeshadows in the formula were quite pigmented with opaque coverage delivered in one layer, but there were a few that were sheerer and/or sheerer and sparklier (and looked more like "top coats"). The eyeshadow formula lasted an average of eight hours on me before showing signs of fading.

OMG! I can’t believe how much I love the shades in this quad! And how much I am so disappointed in that fourth shade- what a dud. How hard is it to have the same formula for all 4 shades? When there is a quad, all the shades have to be good. Anyway, the first three are fabulous.
I think someone posted the other day that these are over $100 Canadian. Sorry, but for that price (even for $88) I want a better rating than this got. Even though this is a bit on the warm side for me and my liking, it’s actually a very nice looking palette – if it had rated a bit higher (that last shade really pulled the rating down) and its price was a bit more in “this” stratosphere….
These are my types of chocolate, bronzey goodness, which is exactly why I can very easily talk myself out of even considering getting this quad. Because, boy, do I have dupes upon dupes!

Back to the quad, I got this and number 4. I love them both. Yes I have lots of dupe but these quads are so pretty in the pan and more importantly on the eyes.
