There’s not much to the description of this product, other than it is intended to “brighten” with a mix of “pink, beige, and coral” and has a “smooth, satin finish.” The powder is incredibly soft, smooth, and blendable without being powdery. It had good pigmentation that can easily be applied at medium coverage or full coverage depending on how much product you pick up with your brush (it’s not so intense that the barest touch of the brush yields opaque coverage). There are five distinct colors in the palette: orange, pink, fuchsia, peach, and coral, and oddly, the parts didn’t swatch nearly as nice as the whole, though it may have been the pattern wearing down that helped. If you keep your brush more towards the top half, you’ll get a warmer coral with more orange, while the lower half yields a pinker coral. The blush wore well for eight and a half hours on me.

Whew!! I was hoping for a positive review. Mine is already on its way! I love Nordie’s but their shipping is w a y t o o s l o w! I am hoping that you will review some of those Surratt Beauty prismatic shadows soon. I would like to know what you think about those before I purchase another one!
I think you will enjoy the new blush, Pamyla! 🙂 I love Nordstrom as well, but I tend to opt for Neiman Marcus because of Shoprunner (2-day shipping) between the two! I don’t have a NM CC though, lol.
Omg this is such a pretty shade! But I can’t justify the 70 dollar (around 60 euro I guess) pricetag… And there are no really affordable dupes 🙁
Aww! 🙁
I love this! I have it on hold for the Nordstrom event next week! No way am I passing this up! You look super cute here Christine!
Thank you, Nicole! You will love it!
This is very pretty. it’s also very expensive, isn’t it. I’ll pass, though it sounds like a winner.
I’d say it’s standard pricing for Chanel’s LE powders generally, though you at least get a good amount – I think it’s at least double a regular blush from Chanel.
I didn’t think about the amount of powder you get 🙂
I’ve not bought a lot of LE Canel, I think the only thing I got is a highlighter from last Christmas. That also cost a lot, but I think it’ll last me forever, haven’t used it yet 😀
What a beauty this blush is! Almost too pretty to “ruin” with my brush, I really love the abstract, almost art deco design of the powder shades. Not so sure that I want to part with $70 for a single blush, though. But if I took the dive, this would be a heavy contender!
At least they weren’t stingy on the product amount! It’s a hugeee blush (in terms of oz.)!
This shade looks beautiful! Sadly there are no Chanel counters here. This shade is very dupable too! Still love it though xx
It is a pretty hue!
Sigh. So beautiful?
It is!
Nobody looks back at comments this far, but I just have to say this blush arrived today and it is certainly going to be one of my favorite purchases of 2016!
Not that far at all! 🙂
So glad you got yours!
I read this! Currently deciding whether or not to buy, your recommendation helps!
The color is gorgeous on you, Christine! I think this has to go on my wish list, even if the price is pretty steep. I just love how the individual swatches look as well as the full color blended together.
Thank you, Arianne! 🙂
So pretty but also so expensive!
True!
Pretty colors, and nice you can get 6 different colors here, but I can safely skip, as perfume is near the top of the ingredient list, and some readers commented about the strong fragrance. If I want my cheeks to turn red, I can just dot perfume on them, no need to drop $70 on a blush. Christine, did you notice any fragrance smell on yours?
Slight rose like their blushes, but I didn’t notice a particular strong scent myself!
Blended together this one reminds me of Illamasqua’s Dixie only softer and less bright. Dixie is too intense on me but I don’t think I’ll drop $70 to find our if I could handle this one.
Totally understand 🙂 Have you tried using Dixie with a fan brush?
I guess I never thought of using a fan brush for a cream product. Right now I use a Mac 137 (?) to stipple lightly but I need more practice with the blending.
This looks like a really beautiful blush, just not a good color for me!
This is why I always wish brands would do a cool/warm concept!! It might not cover EVERYONE, but it’d at least give more coverage!
I sometimes feel like the market has been favoring warmer colors for at least the past couple of years. And of course it mostly still ignores deeper skin tones. Silly! They could make more money of they thought of all of us!
There are a TON of warm-toned products with a lot less cool-toned ones… particularly in permanent line-ups 🙁
I know it’s expensive, but I’m 100% positive thay I need this. I have the perfect little contour brush that would pick up the separate colors perfectly. Plus you could mix different shades to get a lot of different colors. The possibilities are staggering!
Like I said, even though it’s expensive, I feel like the quality, size, and possibilities make it an excellent investment. Thanks for the review Christine! I was on the fence but now I have to have it.
There is a lot of product in the compact, so if you’d use it often, I think it’s well worth it (if you normally shell out for high-end blush anyway). 🙂
I am sooooo glad to see an A rating here! It’s sooo pretty 😀
Me too 😀
this is just gorgeous…how can I justify the 10th coral blush in my stash???:)))
You’re asking the wrong person ;P
Cute answer Christine!
Both the pattern and the color/s are quite lovely.
The pattern is well-done without compromising on the product itself!
I swatched this the other day in store and it’s beautiful. It was a more pink than your swatch but I probably didn’t catch much of the orange shade at the top. I sorta talked myself out of it but now that it got an A from you, I’m debating again. LOL This is surprising cheaper in Canada right now so it’s actually a good deal.
It can definitely vary depending on how you swatch, what areas you get most! Happy to hear that it’s even cheaper in Canada!
I really like blush palettes like this where you can swirl the colours together. This looks really lovely on you Christine and it makes up for the woeful eyeshadows.
Thanks a lot, Genevieve!
That’s some lovely embossing!
It is! And a product that still performs, even with its embossing!
I went ahead and got this blush last week because I was worried it would sell out before Christine got a chance to review it. I’m so glad I got it! It really is beautiful; very soft and well-pigmented, and fun to play with as there are five distinct colours in the compact. I’m a bit confused by the price, though; it is $57.00 here in Canada. It really is beautiful )
The price is off of Chanel’s website for U.S., for reference. Glad you got yours, Cathy! 🙂
YES AN A!!!!!! Now I can definitely justify this! 😀 this has got to be one of the prettiest blushes I’ve ever seen!
Yayy!
Pretty. I cant exactly justify a blush that expensive.
I understand!
This is beautiful, however I already have Too Faced’s Love Flush palette with Love Hangover so I’ll keep the dupe lol and save money!
Phew! 🙂
this is beautiful!! but i don’t see myself reaching for it more often. It looks bright. Lovely pattern on the blush. Thank you for swatches.
My pleasure, Resham!
I wanted this so bad when I first saw the promo pics but now Idk. It’s stunning in the pan but I’m not feeling how it looks when swatched all together. Looks like it may be too pale for me. Guess I’ll have to check it out in person to be sure
Definitely keep us posted if you try it out in person!
Very pretty, but out of my price range!
Totally understand, Jessica! 🙂
Very pretty. I wish I could splurge!
Aww!
Soo pretty! But I am on no buy for a while… 🙁
Oh, darn!
Mine just arrived and I lovee how pigmented yet very blendable it is <3 <3 Also, I got it for 57 CAD which is about 40 USD. I think there was a glitch or a mistake while entering the prices but I'm not complaining!
Nice!
very pretty blush. chanel sure know how to make pretty powders!
it reminds me a lot of the Guerlain B-Serie Noire Blush from spring 2011.
I can see some resemblance!
Tried to buy this locally yesterday but it sold out. Didn’t help that Chanel only gave that store 4 fricken pans of blush for a city of millions!
Wow!
I would prefer half the anount of blush.. But at half the price.. Too expensive at $70.. Beautiful though.. I swatched it again today…
Blush n Highlighters should come in smaller sizes n half price…
Rambling over ?
They are pricey!
For Canadian girls, this blush is only $57 CAD at the bay. I just bought online, this is incredibly cheap compare to $70 USD and I have no idea why it’s priced this way. grab it while you can.
