Chanel Pygmalion (467) Rouge Coco Shine Review, Photos, Swatches
Chanel Pygmalion (467) Rouge Coco Shine
Chanel Pygmalion (467) Rouge Coco Shine ($34.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “raspberry.” This is a warm, coral-pink with a soft, barely-there shimmer-sheen with a glossy shine. If I had to describe it as a fruit, I would call it more of a watermelon shade–not raspberry. Maybelline Shocking Coral is much bolder/brighter and mor eintense in color but is related. MAC Lady at Play is more orange/coral. MAC Ablaze is more orange and matte. Guerlain Nahema has more shimmer. MAC Hibiscus is redder. MAC Ultra Darling is comparable.
It had semi-opaque color payoff, where it deposited enough color to change my lip color to something else but there was still translucency that allowed the natural lip color to come through. Pygmalion wears three hours on me, which I wouldn’t call “lasting” wear, but the consistency of the formula is very emollient, slick, and water-like, so for something with that kind of texture, it is better than average. It was lightly hydrating while I wore it, and it was comfortable to wear.
Pygmalion
LELimited Edition. $37.00.

I wasn’t compelled to buy this because it’s a bit too sheer for my taste and my darker complexion. It does look lovely on you Christine. You look especially lovely in this photo.
Gorgeous color! And Christina, I really love this lipstick with that pop of blue liner on the eyes!
What a beautiful sheer color for Summer!!! It reminds me a lot of Viva Glam Cindy 🙂
This looks like a must have!
my good god, you look amazing in this photo! <3
Thank you!
Ahh, so pretty! Btw, I love your earrings Christine! Where did you get them? 🙂
From here! http://www.etsy.com/shop/bellaanelajewelry
Love, love, love Pygmalion. I already bought two. I love the feel of the hydrating Cocos. This shade pulls pink on me.
I also love Pygmalion, last time I compared it next to Suspense Coco shine, and Suspense came home with me instead. But now I´m really interested in Pygmalion if I buy it that has to happen fast before it´s sold out, I think I could pass by a counter tomorrow to see it again.
I know this is a tangent, but you just look so beautiful in that pic!
you look gorgeouse in that whole look!
Love love love! The first question is missing, but I believe it’s “Is it Limited Edition?” based on your usual format. Since the answer seems to be “Yes,” I’ll have to jump on this pronto!
Oh wow I might have to get this!
It’s beyond my budget, but the colour is pretty. You look especially lovely in that photo!
Hmmm… I passed on Pygmalion because I found it to be way too sheer. I thought it was way more sheer compared to most of the rouge coco shines (the ones that look pigmented in the tube, anyways)
At first I was “meh” then I scrolled down and saw it on you and was like WOW, it’s totally pretty on. I’m sold! It could be your whole look though. I love the green liner on your eyes.
I really like this, but so do not need another coral lip product. You look great, Christine!
This is such a gorgeous shade, and I’ve really been loving translucent yet pigmented lipsticks lately.
How do you feel Pygmalion compares to Rebelle from the same line? (Not sure if that one is permanent or not)
I think Rebelle is a bit pinker!
I was waiting for your review before making my decision on this. Now I definitely need it! I love semi-sheer lip colors – in my opinion, opaque lip colors tend to not look so good on my rather dry lips. This one is beautiful! Thank you so much for the review, Christine! Will you be reviewing the Stylo Effect Eyeshadow sticks as well?
Not sure, sorry! The one I bought arrived really broken and it just doesn’t function, so I have to return it (and I bought it online, as I don’t live near a Chanel counter).
I’m so sorry yours arrived broken! That’s so sad!
Now THIS is beautiful! I have more pigmented lips, so hopefully this will show up well.
I looks so smooth and glossy, I love the finish.
I love the full face photo, Christine. You look great! Seeing your hair down is a treat. 🙂 I’m skipping this only because I already have Nahema, otherwise, I think it’s a good product.
It’s beautiful on you, wow!
You look stunning Christine! Very nice shade. I may pop by a Chanel counter to swatch it.
Very pretty Christine !
I need the nail polishes and this RCS too, gorgeous shade for summer days !
oh my god this looks gorgeous on you! :O
Christine! Have you done something different to your eyebrows? They look amazing!!!
oh my my u r looking stunning gorgeous christine here your blush so healthy glowing n your eye make up the lipstick ear rings n one of the best your hairs they look gorgeous like these do more often posts like this u rock <3 🙂
Thank you so much!
Oh my god, your hair looks so healthy! o: May I ask which products you use on it? (:
It’s probably just that way because I don’t style it very often with heat/tools (I also don’t dye my hair)! The past few weeks, I’ve used primarily Head & Shoulders for shampoo/conditioner, and once a week or every week and a half, I use Aussie’s 3-Minute Miracle deep conditioner instead of regular conditioner!
Okay, that makes me jealous. I also hardly ever use tools, I even don’t blow-dry my hair. But I’ve seen many recommendations on Aussie products on the internet, so I think I have to try out the conditioner. 🙂 Thanks for your answer! 😉
u look beautiful! and this color is exactly my favorite color…christine can u please suggest me some lipgloss shade from mac /loreal/revlon/bourjois which is similar to this?
This is beautiful on you! But then again…everything seems to be LOL 🙂
I love how you apply makeup
i just joined your page and shows how friendly you are with new fans and old too 🙂
Please share what base or foundation you are wearing in this post
im in awe of dewy glowy foundation + tinted mositurizer if you have any in mind ?
Thank you
Hi Gauher!
I used Guerlain Lingerie de Peau here mixed with MAC’s Golden Elixir! 🙂
Thanks Chrisitine
What a lovely shade! It seems that they have extended the wear time of the new Rouge Coco Shines, haven’t they? I think I remember they do not last three full hours (which is a shame at this price point).
I do love the look you’re wearing, Christine. I’ve missed seeing full looks on you. This feels especially summery and fresh!
