Chanel Pleasing Glossimer (Holiday 2010) Review, Photos, Swatches
Chanel Pleasing Glossimer
Chanel Holiday 2010: Pleasing
Chanel Pleasing Glossimer ($27.00 for 0.19 fl. oz.) is new and limited edition just in time for the holidays, and it’s the most pigmented shade of the three holiday Glossimers. I always find this kind of color difficult to describe, but I would say Pleasing is a semi-sheer metallic bronze muted by burgundy with multi-colored shimmer.
Glossimers are nearly non-sticky but still have a little tackiness to them, though they are lightweight, non-drying, and last three to four hours on me. They’re scent- and taste-free as well. Some of them are more pigmented but the majority have been on the sheerer side based on my experience.

Looks fantastic on you 🙂
I caught this in the Vampy Glosses feature, and I agree! It really suits you well, Christine!
This is really nice and quite pigmented by the looks of it. I’ll definitely check it out! 🙂
I bought this along with Pink Pulsion and I love them both! To me, they feel and look so Christmas-y, very festive! Too bad they’re limited edition though =3.
I saw this in-store and LOVED it! I don’t know that I can justify the price though.
I REALLY love this!
What a great color on you, Christine! This is an all-around great throw on color! =)
Thank you for the review–the color looks gorgeous on you!
It reminds me of Beaux lipglass from MAC, no?
When I first saw Patcholi and it’s Glossimer pairing, Pleasing, I passed on them because I don’t look good in brown on the lips. After seeing so many flattering swatches and reviews of Pleasing; however, I thought I’d give it a try and I’m glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful glints of rose gold and pink copper sparkle that came shining through which made it a flattering shade on my medium rose lips.
As you noted, Pleasing is the most pigmented of the three holiday Glossimers. Whereas the beauty of Pink Pulsion and Charming lies in the depth, warmth, and sparkle they add to whatever lipstick is being worn, Pleasing provides enough pigment to be worn on its own, although your natural lip color will definitely “tune” the finished look.
I got this 2 weeks ago and love it. Very pretty and looks great over Viva Glam V, one of my favs!
Nice in the tube but decieving on the lips. It’s not enough pigment for me.
It’s absolutely lovely on you! Wear it more often please!
It’s not unique, and it looks like a thousand other lipglosses, but it’s okay, I guess. It’s certainly not worth $27.
I’m not a fan of bronze colours but this one is so pretty i’m definitely getting it!
Oh so cute! I want it although its not really something id wear everyday.
OOOOH AHHH it’s soo pretty, it kind of reminds me of an old Chanel gloss that I used to have called “Blizzard” although it reminds me of a sheerer version of it!! 🙂
Pleasing certainly looks much prettier for my dark skin tone than the Unity Glossimer. Warmer, and more complex. I like it!
Pretty colour, would go with a lot of different coloured lipsticks. The only place I actually like a little shimmer is with lipgloss.
Looks lovely, a warm and very freindly tone. Your teeth are great, big envy for that 🙂
i would say this is one of the most beautiful shades on you!
Got this for a small money today (sale of the winter holiday collection), love this and my husband loves on me as well! Lucky me, this gloss is really nice for any occasion! IMO, it plumps lips a bit, not bad indeed.
That looks gorgeous! What blush are you wearing with it? It’s also a very pretty shade!
