Chanel Liaison Rouge Coco Lipstick Review, Photos, Swatches

Chanel Liaison Rouge Coco Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a warm, light-medium pink with a soft sheen. It’s warmer than a pure pink, but it’s too pink to really be a true coral. NYX Stella is lighter, less warm-toned. MAC Blossom Culture is sheerer, warmer. MAC Sunny Seoul is darker, pinker. MAC Betty Bright is brighter, slightly warmer. Guerlain Giuelette is darker, warmer. Bobbi Brown Pink Peony is darker.
See comparison swatches.

The consistency fell between lightly creamy and moderately creamy; it was noticeably stiff compared to the creamier shades in the formula, but it wasn’t the creamiest, either. It had mostly opaque color coverage, but it didn’t apply as evenly or as smoothly as the other shades I’ve recently reviewed. It lasted four hours, which is about average, and it was lightly hydrating while I wore it.

It’s such a lovely colour (I believe the correct name is Liaison though!), I’ve noticed it when it came out, but I’m a bit hesitant based on your review, now.
How does it compare to Chanel Magnolia?

Aww, it happens to everyone, c’mon! 🙂
Thanks! I think I might settle for Magnolia (I’ve been wanting it for a while, too). I’ll see later in the future!

Love this clean pink (clean of any brown or peach). I was seriously considering this one but your not-so-positive review is giving me pause….but it’s so pretty….can’t decide.

This is exactly what I wish Charme was. Though for some reason, Charme looks much, much, warmer on me (basically a true neutral pink), than it did on your swatches.

I’ve been wanting a lipstick with this exact color for a long time! I’m so bummed it didn’t get a stellar review. I usually only purchase A or A+ rated products 🙁

I think it looks a lot comparable to Givenchy #201 which I just bought along with its corresponding nail vernis.

I love this kind of shade a lot ! It just goes so well with Summer yet not too bold for everyday wear.
