Rescue Beauty Lounge Become One Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described an “opaque green” inspired by “young, verdant leaves in spring.” It’s a medium green cream with warm, yellow undertones. This was really rich in pigment and was nearly opaque in one coat, though I still found two to work best for full opacity. The consistency is slightly thick but not to the point where it hurts application, just makes the drying time a bit longer. It flowed well across the nail without pooling along the edges, bubbling, or streaking. I typically get a full week of wear with very minor tip wear with Rescue Beauty Lounge’s formula. Cult Nails Feelin’ Froggy is cooler-toned, more shimmery. China Glaze Starboard is slightly darker and cooler-toned. See comparison swatches.

Smile ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “dazzling red … a neutral red … full of sunny, shimmery goodness.” It’s a brightened, pink-red with barely-there gold pearl and warm undertones. I really couldn’t detect the gold pearl well; normally, even fine pearl will catch the light in photos, despite a lower impact in real life, but here, it’s hard to see at all. I was disappointed with that, because Rescue Beauty’s subtle, but noticeable, pearl is often a characteristic that they excel at but is uncommon in other brands. The consistency and application were both great, though, and I had no issues with opacity, as it was opaque in two coats. OCC Extravaganza is lighter, more shimmery. L’Oreal The Queen’s Might is brighter, darker, more shimmery. Guerlain Champs-Elysees is pinker, brighter. Chanel Fracas is lighter. Zoya Kimber is darker, more shimmery. See comparison swatches.

Thank you ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “bare, neutral nude, [with] a cast of beatific opalescent pink shimmers.” It’s a pale, subtly warm-toned beige with opalescent pearl. No matter how thin or thick my coats were, I couldn’t manage to apply this shade without noticeable streaking and unevenness. The consistency of the polish was slightly thick, which may have hurt the application. I applied two coats, and it had semi-opaque color coverage. MAC Undercover Nude is less shimmery, less pigmented. Chanel Island is more shimmery, lighter. Essie Sand Tropez is darker, cooler-toned, less shimmery. See comparison swatches.

I’m with you on Thank You. I have been really, really disappointed with the last few light RBL polishes I have ordered. Thank You doesn’t even hold up to some Essies in my collection. Ditto for Bella from the GOMM collection, and Moxie. They all applied patchy. For a $20 nail polish I expect a lot better!

I ordered 3 GOMMS when they first came out, my first RBL purchase. You know I was expecting an amazing, out of this world product. I was impressed but I like my China Glazes better. I keep going back to them, and they cost me 4 each or less.

I would love to try RBL Poppy and Bangin though.
