I’ve already got the quad and the Ingenue lipstick in my cart, as well as the Lumiere Velvet foundation. I’m just waiting for the courage to finish the order. That burnished red shade in the quad seems like it would make a gorgeous defining blush!

Ooh those are such fall like colors! I’m really liking the quad and those illusion d’ombres. Sad that those and one of the lipsticks are LE. I hope you get to review the quad Christine! These are my kind of colors, but not the price 😛 I would love to see dupes for them, and if I have any similar ones in my collection.

Very appealing. Out with the corals and pinks, and into the reds and browns. Big love for fall m/u. I need a scholarship for all those lips, plus pretty much the rest, as well. Wish these cos would indicate where/if the collection might go, after it launches on their site. (Yeah, new ABH ‘lighters, as well as Chanel.) Hope these are good, bec they are total classics.

I love these colors, especially in clothing, however not sure I could wear the as I have redness in my face that amplifies red. Love Chanel lipsticks. Can’t wait to see Christine’s review and FOTD on how to best use the eyeshadow palette.

I’m such a hypocrite. I’m so tired of collections being warm, warm, warm, but put the Chanel name on it and and suddenly I’love investigate.

Hmmm, the quad has a very autumn look, but I think 3 browns can end up looking muddy on me, would’ve been better if they had done 1 color as a soft shimmery pink or gold, and I feel like the color combo is too similar to my Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette. I don’t need another red lipstick, but they sure look pretty

Yeah, I could def muddy the eyes, esp w/all matte. If Ms. C doesn’t show me a lot of dupes already in stash, I’m a goner on the lips, and prob the blush. Maybe if I just get MUFE morello cherry already, I could quench the red lust. I keep reading the mod ren review to remind myself why I ought not get it. And I really ought not, gorgeous as it is.

That quad looks like it would be so dull and patchy (and after they’ve done such a great job with their newer Tisse quads and the perfect Empreinte du desert). I do love one of the lipsticks (the one on the right in the first pair pictured) and that blush may just end up being my first Chanel blush purchase ever (if they have it in the duty free at the end of this month, that is!)

Beautiful collection, shame most of it’s too warm for me! Or, Perhaps it’s just as well, or I’d have a lemming for it and be way out of pocket!

Ruby Avatar

Bring on Fall, hehe! I have to admit, even though it’s only mid-July, this makes me ready to chuck the bronze and the coral for the rich beauty of autumnal colors. Yum! Interested to see how the quad performs, but for sure those lipsticks are on my list. I’m also not opposed to the Stylos. I have a few and though I think they are a tad overpriced for the quality, the colors are fantastic.

Love the eyeshadow quad! Much to my chagrin. I will have to check for similar colors before I go crazy and buy it.

Anne Avatar

I think the color palette of this collection is absolutely, drop-dead beautiful, and a whole lot of people will be able to wear it. Once again, not me, as there are too many browns, and brown-based reds and plums. So, as is usually the case, I will love it on someone else! Sigh!

I usually feel the need to scoop up several Chanel products per collection, but so far, nothing from this one. It just looks dramatic and severe to me. I have tried a few burgundy shadows and even like them when used sparingly , but they can still make your eyes appear tired.

I love the lipsticks and the look of the quad but not sure about the color selection for the quad? Very similar colors. I will have to await swatches or swatch myself before buying. I love my summer collection the Empreinte du desert quad is so gorgeous and one I use often so am not adverse to purchasing this quad if it is good quality and the colors do not muddy on application.

Eliz Avatar

I need the Rouge Allure lipstick and Joues Contraste blush to be cool-leaning reds, please. I’ll eagerly await swatches and reviews. Fall in July, sigh.

TraceyMc Avatar

Has anyone a release date for this collection in the UK ? Chicprofile did a look at the collection and stated the international release date as July 22nd but no sign of the collection on Selfridges , Harrods or Hose of Fraser online yet 🙁

I didn’t think I would like the eye shadow quad but after all the good reviews I picked up the
Eye shadow quad Candeur et Experience & Illusion d’ Ombre 128 Rouge Brûlé also the Stylo Yeux Waterproof 928 Eros & I love it all. The eye shadow quad is deceiving in the photos three shades look too dark and similar but they aren’t I actually tried mixing all the shades together & it was very pretty. It would also be pretty using each one separately. Next I would love to get Joues Contraste Rouge Profond that was also very pretty on and a nice formula.
