The shadow quad looks interesting. After my success with Orchidee, I was looking to pick up another Chanel liner but these colors don’t look that unique to me

The blackened green polish and the red one, are definite, for me.I do not wear Khaki make up well , so I’ll pass on the quad. I recently started wearing their gloss (corset from the last mini collection) and although I am not usually a gloss girl, I love how non sticky it is and how smooth it makes your lips feel.So I may pick up another. The coco shine colors added in recent collections do not look appealing.

Eeeeeeee! I haven’t really delved into Chanel makeup, but this might break me.

I love the colors. All of them.

I also love that they named a lipstick Temeraire — personally, I’m a huge fan of both JMW Turner and his painting of the Fighting Temeraire… as well as the book series about the dragon named Temeraire.

I’ll be curious to see how these review, but for me, the colors look a little to close to things I already own in my stash. The eyeshadow palette especially so. However, that deep teal nail polish definitely has me intrigued!

I get so excited for Chanel collections and am often disappointed. Will wait for your review before I get emotionally invested, lol.

I am very disappointed in the Chanel 5 shadow palette. Absolutely stunning to look at, but it is very light in texture, no staying power(even with a primer), and a lot of fall-out. It’s going to be returned.

It’s definitely got a fall feel to it, but the colors are way out of the range of what’s wearable for my cooler toned skin. I’d love to take a look at those lip products, though. Can never get enough Chanel lippies in my life. 🙂

Chanel might not knock it out of the park for creativity in colour choices, but they do the classics beautifully and I will most definitely pick up at least a couple of items from this collection.

Well, the downsides of this collection is that it’s pretty brownish for my coloring and therefore not flattering. The blush is so light it does very little even on my fair skin– more like a highlighter. The quint colors we’ve seen everywhere. The cream shadows are lovely if you can wear them– too sparkly for me though I bet that they along with the eyeliner, Ardent, will look amazing on Christine.

Apart from the brown, the nail colors are not grabbing me.

I am a fan of the eyeliners. The formula has improved and I like both the metallic and deeper colors in this collection.

I just bought the Tisse Automne and have worn it a couple of times. It’s gorgeous with a little bit of fallout from the bottom 2 shades. Very elegant earth tones that can be dramatic too – my eyes are blue and the colors are quite flattering. I think the palette would look good for just about any eye color so Chanel did a great job with broad appeal for an autumn palette – hey, I’ve already worn it in summer!

The blush leaned too brown for me (NW20/25). Kinda like NARS Oasis with a better finish!

The only nail polish I bought is Vert Obscur which is exquisite. Châtaigne is really brown! There are better reds in the Chanel laquer lineup.

As for the Illusion d’Ombre, I felt like it was Halloween costume time! I’ve sworn off any new Chanel lippies until I use up a few more in my stash. But I’d love to see your reviews!
