Chanel Energie & Vibration Rouge Allure Glosses Reviews, Photos, Swatches

Energie
Chanel Energie Rouge Allure Gloss ($37.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is a bright pop of orange-red with warm undertones and faint gold pearl.
The formula is supposed to have the “colour intensity of a lipstick” with the “lacquered shine of a lipgloss” that is “long-wearing.” It had semi-opaque pigmentation and felt primarily like a lipgloss. There was a touch of color that pulled into my deeper lip lines, but the color applied evenly and did not appear streaky. The texture was moderately tacky, spread decently (but this particular shade seemed tackier to me than I remember the formula being), and comfortable to wear, as it was hydrating over time. It wore well for five and a half hours on me.

Vibration
Chanel Vibration Rouge Allure Gloss ($37.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is a vibrant, medium-dark pink-coral with warm undertones and barely-there pearl. The pearl was so subtle that I felt it really just looked like it was a more cream-like finish. The consistency was light-medium in thickness, moderately tacky, and took a little extra effort and pulling to spread across the lips. It had more medium coverage, which was buildable to semi-opaque before it felt too thick/heavy on the lips. It applied decently but had room for improvement–not quite even in a few places, some color settled into my lip lines (but the high-shine finish made that less noticeable). This shade stayed on well for five and a half hours and was moisturizing.

Vibration reminds me of fruit punch! Too bad about the formula not being as fabulous as the shade, though. Thankfully, it does have some lovely and less expensive dupes! Makes me appreciate your Dupe List even more. ?
I can see exactly why it reminded you of fruit punch, Nancy!
I think I like the looks of the Smashbox ones better than these.
Those are definitely more pigmented!
If Vibration was more even I’d consider it.
If only!
I haven’t splruged on this yet and I feel like I should! I need a CHANEL lip product in my life and this formula seems so promising!
Some of the shades in the formula are nice!
So juicy and summery!!!
They do have a lot of shine!
