Chanel Destiny (61) Le Blush Creme de Chanel ($38.00 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “golden beige.” It’s a peachy-brown with a satin finish and soft, warm undertones. MAC Honey Jasmine is more orange, brighter, powder. NARS Silvana is browner, more shimmery, powder. MAC Seasonawl Appeal is rosier, powder. MAC Eternal Sun is similar, powder. MAC Barefaced is more shimmery, powder. MAC Coppertone is similar, matte, powder. See comparison swatches.

It has buildable color where a little goes a long way, but the consistency allows you to blend it out to the sheerest layer, if desired. The texture is a lightweight, thin cream that almost immediately turns to powder when it touches the skin, but it doesn’t look like powder. It sets easily but stays blendable for a minute or so. It worked well over bare skin as well as over liquid foundation. I wore this shade yesterday over bare skin and over foundation, and the wear was really the same for me either way (I have normal-to-dry skin, but if you had oilier skin, you may see a difference in longevity compared to when patted over foundation), which was eight hours of nice wear, and then after nine hours, there was some noticeable fading but some color still apparent.

I agree wholeheartedly! Afraid this type of color would look muddy on my white-white skin, but as it’s an easily blended cream product, that might not be an issue.

This one looks perfect on you, Christine. I put in my fall collection order yesterday.. had to have the quad and the two singles and that khaki eyeliner.. thanks for reviewing Hasard yesterday! I picked up one of these blushes in colour Inspiration for me. Hope the formula is consistently good 😀

Love it – but in my effort to use what I have and convince myself I do not need anymore I think Stila’s Gladiola with NARS Luster layered over might look similar. Maybe a bit brighter, oranger – but good enough!

I’m fascinated by how it turns into a powder once on the skin. I don’t wear cream blushes, they never look right on me but then I read about these and wonder if these would work for me.

Hi! I’m so glad you are reviewing these as I totally have had my eye in them. Will you be reviewing the diorblush cheek creme any time soon? I’m curious to see how they compare to each other and what you think before I pick either one up. Thanks!! Xo-Nika

Looks lovely on you. I ordered it from Nordstrom last week and should get it tomorrow. Hope I like it as much as I am liking the Presage (coral) one. I have combo skin(normal/oily) and found they blend and stay on all day into the night. I am impressed. I feel even though they are supposed to be matte they still seem to have a faint glow…I also bought Fantastic and am now thinking of getting Affinite too.
