Chanel Crushed Cherry Glossimer Review, Photos, Swatches

Chanel Crushed Cherry Glossimer
Chanel Crushed Cherry Glossimer

Chanel Crushed Cherry Glossimer ($29.50 for 0.19 fl. oz.) is a bold, berry-red with a glossy shine. MAC Plum Fun is more plum and has shimmer. MAC Lasting Achievement is much darker and has shimmer. MAC Rebel is purper. NARS Bougainville is slightly more berry-hued. NYX Burgundy is not quite as red and has shimmer.

It was such a happy moment to apply this shade, because it’s a very opaque Glossimer, and I feel like we haven’t seen enough of these in recent history (to balance out all of the ultra sheer shades). It’s also an interesting shade as it has no shimmer, just semi-opaque color with a high shine finish. The consistency is lightweight, medium in thickness, and applies incredibly evenly for something this deep. There is very faint settling of the color into lip lines, but at a distance, it is hardly noticeable. Crushed Cherry wore for five and a half hours for me, and it was lightly hydrating during that time.

I so need this! Berry-type shades are my ultimate weakness and glossimers are one of my very favourite formulas!

This one’s a really gorgeous shade! Apparently, berry-reds are my weakness, and Crushed Cherry looks so sinful and sophisticated. I need/want it! 😀

Wow, this is fabulous looking. Very aptly named.

Good thing it isn’t limited since I don’t think I would get much use out of a color like this till fall.

Eeee! I’m glad you swatched this as I would have totally missed it. Definitely coming home with me in my next Chanel haul!

UUUH this is so pretty! I’m smitten. I’ll make sure I’ll buy it at some point or another, since this is not LE.

This is a nice shade, it kind of reminds me of Jalousie glossimer, but this is darker, it might be too vampy for me but I will swatch daydream and Rose sauvage when they arrive on counter, I have been interested in the new glosses and Taboo vernis.

God I wanted to love this but it settled into the lip lines and ive never had a glossimer do that!!! Ughhh sad face..its so spectacular….

This is gorgeous. I still can’t get on board with the price point, but with this shade it is more understandable to me than say, a nude gloss with a little shimmer.
