What do you like most about indie brands?

I definitely like to support smaller businesses/individual’s dream jobs, so that’s nice, and they often have more interesting colors/shades available.

Maybe that they weren’t worth the wait? They’re not always worth a long turnaround time but for the most part, I think they are. I think on a general level, some believe it’s all private-labeled, when there are brands that are definitely creating their own formulas, or that they’re made in...

What made you decide to try indie products?

A lot of people I followed/respected were into some of the indie brands, and of course, their products wered often tempting to begin with, but it was really the strength of recommendations that did it.

How many times will you try a product before you know it won't work for you?

How many times will you try a product before you know it won't work for you?

It depends on the why it’s not working, but for most products, if it doesn’t work after trying a handful of times with different techniques/brushes (e.g. using a lighter hand, heavier hand, different type of brush, wet), I usually just move on.
