Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Givemeglow cosmetics!! Their shimmers are like no other and their pans are huge!
Clionadh has amazing multichromes. Glaminatrix cosmetics also has an awesome formula all around, great mattes, buttery shimmers and super shifty mutichromes!

Besamé is a clear favorite in the indie category. But I’ve recently become quite in love with Terra Moon’s stuff. And I’m looking at trying Give Me Glow, Sigil Inspired, and My Pretty Zombie.

For sure it’s Sydney Grace and Clionadh. SG has some of the most beautiful and wearable colours – the shades that always appeal to me (Recruit, Cadet, Commission, Cuppa Joe, Herky Bird – I could go on and on but you get the picture) and the way the Clionadh shadows shade shift is totally mesmerizing. Some of the better Colour Pop palettes interest me because they’re affordable and practical in terms of my preferences.

Black Moon’s liquid lip formula can’t be beat, imo. Menagerie cosmetics has great color stories and shimmers that pack a punch, their pastel palette is one of the best. Terra Moons for reasons Christine has already elaborated in her reviews.

I’m not sure if they’re an actual indie brand, but Flower Knows has some very interesting packaging. I was also excited about Kaleidos a year ago, but I feel their recent releases haven’t been as good as the original 6pan palettes :/
