I used Urban Decay All Nighter as a primer by applying it first, then foundation/powder, and then more All Nighter, which definitely helped to improve the longevity of my makeup!
I find that more engagement, in general, is typically worse for me, but the right kind of engagement can make all the difference.

Admittedly, I haven’t done much makeup “for fun” or other than in a very utilitarian, test-it-for-wear kind of way, so I don’t have one!
Haus Labs’ foundation, which I really enjoy the finish and application of as it’s lightweight, skin-like, and goes on evenly.
Moira Liquid Blush in Biggest Fan, which was a nice, dewy blush that had good wear and applied well.
I don’t know if I was adamant about not buying it, but I remember being reluctant to purchase the Sisley primer everyone raved about a few years ago (it wasn’t worth it).
NARS Climax mascara, which is getting a bit thick as it is an older tube, so it hasn’t been as easy to use, but I like the depth of black and how much it thickens.
