I still LOVE coral — cheeks, lips, and eyes! I also tend to coordinate my colors (eyes/lips/cheeks/outfit) the same way as I’ve always done it, with some nod to a color in the outfit (e.g. a shirt with teal accents might be worn with a teal eyeshadow look). I still very much prefer my shimmers!

I can actually appreciate neutral eye makeup! When I started, I was all about brights. I also understand why some prefer mattes, and I use them more often in my own looks. I’m able to go with a sheerer base (or no base) without feeling like my look is incomplete.
I think it can take some trial and error to find the kind that works for your skin type/routine (plus, all your other products) so that it actually contributes to skin health.

I think if you’re more “plugged in” to beauty online, then brands like Anastasia and ColourPop feel like they are responding most to customer needs and putting out products that other brands might not be thinking of.
