BUXOM Wanderlust Primer-Infused Blushes Swatches
BUXOM Wanderlust Primer-Infused Blush ($22.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a new, “primer-infused” powder blush that is supposed to have “12-hour wear.” There are six shades available, which are swatched in this post, and by and large, they had a tendency to go on a bit deeper/richer than they appeared in the pan initially.
Doesn’t Elf have a primer infused blush…
But… but why do I want primer in my blush? :/
So that it will last for a longer period of time on the skin!
Primer, schmimer – these look beautiful. Goa reminds me of MAC’s LE Her Blooming Cheek. I like Havana, Dolly and Ibiza too (oh, what I wouldn’t give to be in Ibiza just now!)
Pretty, but the look as though they run really warm and are darker than I expected. My oily-skinned self was interested, but these look like the colors my blushes turn if I don’t have primer, etc. creating a barrier under them.
“Primer-infused” makes me think they’re meant to go over bare skin. A nice range of neutral colors.
Oooh pretty! Blush usually fades on me, but primer infused sounds promising, and the shades look very wearable
Count me in as interested! I see 2 that I can see myself loving on my BB cream days were a primer in my blush might just increase the amount of time my cheeks retain color. Dolly and Seychelles. And for something less casual, Ibiza!
I wonder how these would do in high humidity situations? I’m going to Vietnam for a couple months and not sure my typical powder blushes will cut it.
Oh wow, they look way better swatched than in the pan! I saw your initial pics and was like “eh” but the swatches made me reconsider big time. I just ordered the new Jouer LE six colour blush palette (can’t remember what it’s called, something French and flowery) so I can hold off on these for now but I’m definitely going to keep these in mind!
I love all of these. I rarely wear blush if I am not wearing a full face of makeup so not sure that I need a primer in my blush but the colours are lovely.
These look really good, since there was a dearth of blushes last year. I just hope the peachy shade doesn’t have orange undertones…
Thank you for all the swatches Christine.
I have Dolly and Havana. I love them. They go on really smoothly, I assume because of the primer. Long wearing on my really oily skin. Agreeing the Christine they do go on darker than the pan would appear. I don’t mind though I just sheer them out.
I’m glad to see these. All of the YouTubers have been going crazy over them. I’m definitely looking forward to the review.
I just bought Dolly yesterday after seeing Kathleen Lights put these in her favorites video. It’s a beautiful color in person.
I’m definitely interested in Dolly and Mykonos… but, maybe it is just me, does Mykonos have a bunch of glitter in it? If these are glittery I’ll pass, but maybe it is just the angle it was taken at because I didn’t notice the pan looking glittery at all.
