Burberry Redwood (304) Lip Velvet Review, Photos, Swatches
Burberry Redwood (304) Lip Velvet
Burberry Redwood (304) Lip Velvet ($30.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark, plummy red with a matte finish and warm undertones. Chanel Scenario is lighter. Chanel Grace is lighter. MAC Glamourdaze is more plum. Chanel Baroque is similar. Chanel Imperial is glossier. Buxom Runaway is warmer. See comparison swatches.
Redwood had rich color payoff and applied with mostly opaque color coverage (you can see a faint bit of my lip freckle coming through up close but not at a distance). The consistency is lightly creamy with a nice glide-on feel that doesn’t tug or pull at lips, but it doesn’t feel heavy or feather. It wore for six and a half hours well, and it was lightly hydrating while I wore it, which is remarkable for a matte-finished lipstick.

I like that a lot. But I’m planning on buy Buxom Runaway, which looks pretty similar. It’s also less expensive.
It’s a good alternative as long as the matte finish wasn’t a big deal!
I love this shade! I may want to get it in time for autumn.
Yes — it would be perfect for autumn!
would this look too bright for day to day on an NC 44 person? I LOVE these burberry lipsticks. I have pink azalea and pink amber 🙂 wears very well. pink azalea is def. too bright on me for day to day use.
I think so! 🙂
This colour looks far better on you than me. (─‿‿─) 😛 LoL
Not the most exciting color, but it is lovely
