Burberry Coral Pink Light Glow Natural Blush Review, Photos, Swatches

Burberry Coral Pink Light Glow Natural Blush ($42.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a subtly warmed-up dark pink with a hint of coral. It has a soft, satiny finish with a barely-there sheen. MAC Whole Lotta Love is lighter. MAC Supernova is more shimmery, less warm-toned. MAC Mocha is slightly more subdued. NARS Amour is more coral.  Worth noting:  I couldn’t see much of a difference between Coral Pink and Hydrangea Pink (the other shade released in the collection) once applied and blended out. I bought both to review, but I don’t think both are necessary if you intend to wear them sheered out–I do think the nuances will be better seen on cooler skin tones, though.

Again, one of Burberry’s aims for their spring/summer collection was to introduce “radiant colour” into their range. Coral Pink is incredibly pigmented–if you are a fan of NARS’ richness in their blush range, you’ll appreciate the intensity found in the newest addition to Burberry’s blush range. I highly recommend using a light hand or a feathery brush for application.  The texture of the powder is soft as silk, finely-milled, and applies smoothly and evenly (Burberry’s blushes are some of the softest, most velvety powders I’ve come across).  It’s blendable once applied, and Coral Pink wore eight hours well but had some signs of fading after nine hours.

So pretty! Are you wearing the Hydrangea Pink? It’s kinda hard to tell with the angle of your face in the picture; a side by side swatch would be great too!

If you use a stippling brush or a really light touch you can totally wear this – I can wear it and Hydrangea Pink, and I’m a NW15 at most. HTH!

This is my first visit to Temptalia. LOVE your Glossover rating, genius!! Great review of Burberry’s new blush. I adore pink coral, so I would’ve thought this would be perfect for me. Thankfully, your review that emphasized the highly pigmented character of the product, the swatch, and your photo have shown me that it would be a little too bright for me. I had to laugh when I look at your swatches, as I had just tried to take swatch photos with Too Faced Sweethearts blush, and the color was so subtle it didn’t show up at all in my photos! Thanks, and I’ll be back.

I also bought both blushes although normally I go for softer, more subtle shades. But the Burberry MUA put Hydrangea Pink on me and it looked *fantastic*, and I loved the texture of Coral Pink, so there you are. They look more different to me in person than they do in your pictures; that’s probably my computer monitor.

WOW! It is fascinating how they look so much the same once they are blended out. I am looking forward to swatching these shades when I go to Nordstrom later. Thanks for a great review and ensuring I will only buy one not both since they are so similar!

I was going crazy about this release for a while…until I saw the swatches. I still think it’s pretty but it was disappointing to me that a.) Coral Pink was not as coral or warm as I thought it would be, and b.) it was so darn similar to Hydrangea Pink. Now I’ve decided to buy their Blossom blush instead

It looks lovely on you! I think this shade is meant for complexions with warm undertones, whereas Hydrangea is for those with cool undertones. I am very pale with cool undertones and Coral Pink looked dull and muddy on me. Hydrangea on the other hand gave me a gorgeous flush of color. Oh, and the two swatched VERY distinctly on me.

Such a pretty color! Btw I think you may have meant MAC Mocha blush instead of Melba because the link takes us to a Face Kit with Mocha blush in it. Just a heads up!

Coral is just a great color for you. I always love it on you, regardless if it’s a blush or lip shade. I think Hydrangea Pink might be a little more up my alley because of the cooler tone, but both are beautiful. I think after my hiatus is over, I’ll have to splurge on some Burberry. They’re cosmetics are just too lovely to pass up. 🙂

ibeautfiul color! but it doesn’t really look like melba on the swatches… I’m afraid you wrote the wrong name on your post, chris. 🙂

I am pale and I saw the difference on my cheeks when I tried both on. The Hydrangea Pink is definitely cooler and that worked for me. All the same wonderful packaging, texture and quality that one expects from Burberry. I use a stippling brush first swatched with face powder then tapped onto the blush so I build the color slowly. Love it for spring and summer.
