Estee Lauder Extreme Emerald Shadow Paint
Estee Lauder Extreme Emerald Shadow Paint ($24.00 for 0.12 oz.) is an emerald green with subtle cool undertones. On my warmer complexion, when it is sheered out, it almost looks warm-toned, but it’s really not. Milani Green Safari is very close, just slightly more frosted. MAC Feeling Fresh is warmer and lighter. MAC Fresh Flare is warmer. Wet ‘n’ Wild Earth Looks Small From Down Here is very close but a powder product.
Extreme Emerald had good color payoff–not fully opaque on the lid–but certainly not just a sheer wash of color. It was a little difficult to build-up the color and blend it, because it didn’t apply evenly. The consistency of this shade was wetter than other Shadow Paints I’ve tested, and as a result, it was prone to creasing because the drying time was much longer than the other shades. What I noticed was that while it creased initially, it didn’t crease more during the day–so however it dries is how it stays. If it’s a color you’re interested in, I recommend closing your eyes for two to three minutes and/or watching and lightly blending out the creasing as it happens. I re-tested it this way, and I didn’t have any color gathered in the creases, though it was still a bit patchy in color overall.

wow that’s something I would have never expected from an Estee Lauder line. Great pigmentation. Looks like a pro product.
Looks about as good as color tattoos IMO. Actually better, the color tattoos didnt have as strong of color payoff
How does this compare to maybelline color tattoo in Edgy Emerald?
Edgy Emerald is more like a teal. http://www.temptalia.com/maybelline-color-tattoo-24-hour-eyeshadows-review-photos-swatches-part-1
Thanks, Christine!!!
These seem to draw attention to the texture of your eyelid. I have the same problem with cream shadows or foiled textures and as a result i avoid them.
Beautiful color. I love emerald green.
