Bobbi Brown Pink Glow Highlight Powder Review, Photos, Swatches

Bobbi Brown Pink Glow Highlight Powder ($45.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a peach-champagne with a hint of beige and rosiness and a frosted sheen. bareMinerals The Premiere (LE, $26.00) is darker, warmer. Urban Decay Aura (P, $29.00) is more sparkly. NARS 413 BLKR (P, $30.00) is a liquid. IT Cosmetics Hello Light (P, $24.00) is warmer. MAC Sparkling Rose (LE) is similar. Urban Decay Glint (LE) is similar. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

I found this shade to be more metallic than Bronze Glow, and it just very slightly emphasized pores in comparison (but it is minimal emphasis). The powder felt just as soft and silky, which helped it blend easily on the skin. It had good pigmentation which was controllable; it didn’t feel like the merest touch of the brush was too much, but you don’t have to pack it on either. I think the rosiness in this one might be more prominent if you have pinker undertones, but even in the pan, it seems more “rose gold” than pink to my eye. On me, the highlighter showed signs of fading after seven and a half hours of wear.

I have trouble with powders. Most colors just feel to unnatural. I would like to try this. You make it look so nice! I have really only used cover girl. Does it make sense for me to pay more for something like this? Is it really that much better? Also if I try it does it help you if I buy from your site?

Keep up the articles!

Kate Ryan.

Hi Kate Ryan!

You may really like the way this sits on the skin and feels, as it is very smooth and silky. I haven’t used a lot of CoverGirl products, so I’m not sure how it compares (or how much better it is). It is hard to say that it is say… $35 better, though, no matter what!

Yes, if you purchase through links on Temptalia, it helps support the site 🙂

I love this shade so much! Am I seeing this right, Christine? Do these have almost half the product of regular shimmer bricks? That would be a disappointment at the same price :/ I might have to check it out in store to see if I love it!

Christine, this is actually really pretty! My first thought was how does this compare to Benefit’s Rockateur, but I answered my own question by using the dupe feature on your site. How cool! There is something about the packaging of Bobbi Brown’s products that is very off-putting to me. I just think she can do better. Otherwise this is a gorgeous highlighter. Thanks for sharing.

Just bought this on a whim whilst shopping for bronze glow. It’s very silky and beautiful. So glad you gave it a decent rating otherwise I would’ve returned it! I much prefer the texture of this over their shimmer bricks. Thanks for the review 🙂

Hi Christine! I was wondering how this compares to Superb EDSF? Thanks! This looks so pretty on you! Though when people say rose gold, I think like a light-medium copper…preferably with a pink sheen! Do you own anything like that? (Highlighter, not a blush) 🙂

I added the Bronze Glow to my Sephora order at the last second–I was possessed, I swear! I’m debating going back for this one, but I can’t tell if it would do much for my skin tone. Being very fair and pink already, it might be too close to my skin tone and disappear? Or do you think it would work really well on my skin tone?

Would you mark it as warm or cool? Or neutral? 🙂

I just bought it, but had a hard time finding it somewhere that would ship to Denmark, because it has not released here yet. It just looks so beautiful so I had to get it! 🙂
