Bobbi Brown Bronze Glow Highlight Powder ($45.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a coppery bronze with warm undertones and a golden sheen. Becca Topaz (P, $38.00) is more golden. MAC Delphic (LE, $33.00) is less shimmery. Urban Decay Strip Bronzer (P) is darker. Too Faced Jingle All the Way Bronzer (LE) is warmer. Bobbi Brown Nude Glow (LE, $42.00) is darker, browner. Disney by Sephora Golden Sands (LE, $55.00) is darker. Urban Decay Gilded (P, $26.00) is similar. Estee Lauder Topaz Chameleon (LE, $42.00) is darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

The texture is very soft and smooth–more so than many other types with a similar formula (Estee Lauder Gelees, MAC Extra Dimension, and so forth) that’s almost baked, yet infinitely silkier. It had rich color payoff that could be applied more intensely for a more bronzing effect or more subtly for a warm, glowing sheen. With the smooth, silky consistency, the powder blended effortlessly on the skin. When I tested it, the color wore well for almost eight hours before fading.

I’m so excited this product performs well and is not similar to Mac’s Magnetic Appeal extra dimension skin. I’m purchasing during the vib/Rouge sale! 🙂

I can narrow it down to “must have now” for the Chanel Camelia (b/c it’s LE), and Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight and Nars Nico (b/c I can use the various 20% off).

I’ve been wanting the Balm Mary Lou and Cindy Lou for so long, and the Charlotte Tilbury filmstar duo for a few months, but they keep getting bumped from the top of my list by sales or things that are LE. In my mind they’re all worth having because I am very fair, and the slight differences in color make a difference on me, some doubling as blush/bronzer. But maybe I’m cRazAy.

This Bobbi B one looks beautiful but I need to stop somewhere!

I got theBalm Mary Lou and Cindy Lou on Haute Look for only $11-12 each. I believe that I see them on the site every few months. You don’t have to be worried about it getting sold out too fast, I waited a few days before purchasing them. Even the palettes take a while before they get sold out. I also see them at Marshall on a few occasions for $11-12. If you have one near by I’d check it out.

I am in the market for a new highlighter…I am so confused which to buy!!! I was thinking becca opal and a bobbi brown shimmerbrick, any suggestions? My skin is exactly your coloring, we wear the same foundations 🙂 i like options but when I get too many I can’t decide!!!

The high quality/performance of this highlight, attested by you, Christine, together with the comment of reader LIZ encouraged me to purchase it. Like her, I am fair (NW 15/20), and I had my doubts and worries concerning the possibility that it would look too bronzy on me. A big thanks!
