Bite Beauty Scorpio Amuse Bouche Lipstick Review & Swatches
Scorpio
Bite Beauty Scorpio Amuse Bouche Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a bright, medium orange-red with strong, warm red undertones and a satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that had a touch of tackiness but never felt heavy or too thick. The consistency had just enough slip to help it glide across my lips evenly while ensuring the product adhered well for longer wear, but it wasn’t quite as smoothing as other Bite shades have been for me. This shade stayed on well for six and a half hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.15 oz.) is supposed to have “bold, creamy color” with “extreme moisture, soft texture, and creamy wear.” The majority of the range is very pigmented–typically opaque with one pass–with a few shades being semi-opaque but usually buildable.
The consistency is very lightly creamy to lightly creamy with some shades requiring light-medium pressure and can pull the lip a bit when gliding it across the lips, though the color doesn’t appear ragged and the bullet itself doesn’t feel stiff (while other shades applied without tugging, so check individual shade reviews!) The majority of the shades I’ve tested have been lightly hydrating to non-drying and fairly comfortable to wear for the long-haul. They have a herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste. They wear longer than average, from four to eight hours, depending on the intensity and propensity of the shade to stain.

I wish I could wear bright orange shades like this, but the most orange I can go is Lady Danger, which is more red than orange.
This seems like an odd choice for Scorpio. I would have thought something dark and mysterious. A very dark, vampy burgundy, like MAC Sin. Maybe even a deep blue or purple. This orange shade is too spring/summer, I think. Too Aries-ish.
That’s one very eye-popping, yet stunning orange lipstick! The one very weird thing about it is that this does NOT say Scorpio to me. Back many years ago, when I dabbled into astrology, I would have imagined a deep, vampy, red-burgundy instead. Like the color of blood, never orange, though.
Not a shade I can pull off but a stunner anyway. So not what I expected but I am sure it will do well. Not exactly a winter shade but maybe that doesn’t matter as those with this birth sign can always purchase and save for later in the year.
Scorpio is my star sign, but I am really a Sagitarius in personality. This lipstick is gorgeous.
I wish this had been Libra’s. It’s gorgeous!
Too much like the Aries, which I did not buy.
WOW, this is a statement lip shade, isn’t it? I love it but I’m not sure I could pull it off. My mom was a Scorpio, though, and she definitely could have <3 And it looks great on you as well, Christine 🙂
