Bite Beauty Brandy, Sucre, Tatin Matte Creme Lip Crayon Photos & Swatches
Bite Beauty Brandy Matte Creme Lip Crayon
Bite Beauty Brandy Matte Creme Lip Crayon ($24.00 for 0.05 oz.) is described as a “muted raspberry.” It’s a medium-dark, pinky-red with warm undertones and a soft shine. It had mostly opaque color payoff, and the color applied evenly and smoothly with just a smidgen of shine initially (it wore away within an hour). The color itself lasted for five and a half hours on me, and the formula was comfortable and hydrating. MAC La Vie En Rouge (LE, $16.00) is brighter, lighter, more matte. Gucci Beauty Hibiscus Thrill (P, $39.00) is lighter, pinker. Guerlain Rouge Kiss (325) (P, $37.00) is more shimmery, lighter. Givenchy Rouge Egerie (305) (P, $36.00) is brighter, lighter. Givenchy Rose Precieux (311) (LE, $36.00) is slightly cooler-toned. Guerlain Madame Flirte (861) (LE, $51.00) is similar. MAC Candy Apple (LE, $17.00) is similar. Revlon Wild Watermelon (P, $7.49) is similar. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Bite Beauty Sucre Matte Creme Lip Crayon ($24.00 for 0.05 oz.) is described as a “warm pink.” It’s a pink-coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had rich, full color coverage that applied beautifully with smooth, even color. This shade wore well for five hours and was moderately moisturizing over time. Gucci Beauty Hibiscus Thrill (P, $39.00) is glossier. NARS Kelly (P, $32.00) is slightly darker. NARS Grace (P, $32.00) is brighter, warmer. MAC Love Temple (LE, $22.00) is lighter. Kat Von D L’Ecole des Femmes (P, $21.00) is lighter, more matte. Givenchy Corail Decollete (303) (P, $36.00) is lighter. MAC Toying Around (LE, $16.00) is lighter. Estee Lauder Defiant Coral (P, $30.00) is similar. Revlon Snow Peach (LE, $7.99) is lighter. Chanel Melodieuse (136) (P, $34.00) is similar. Too Faced Bon Bon (P, $22.00) is lighter. Givenchy Rose Dressing (202) (P, $36.00) is similar. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Bite Beauty Tatin Matte Creme Lip Crayon ($24.00 for 0.05 oz.) is described as a “rose pink.” It’s a light-medium pink with warm, yellow undertones and a luminous finish. It had rich color payoff with a lightly creamy, comfortable-to-wear formula that applied evenly. This shade lasted for four and a half hours and was lightly hydrating while worn. Givenchy Corail Decollete (303) (P, $36.00) is darker. Givenchy Rose Boudoir (204) (P, $36.00) is darker. Givenchy Brun Vintage (105) (P, $36.00) is darker, more muted. Tom Ford Beauty Summer Fling (04) (LE, $49.00) is lighter. YSL Caress Pink (9) (P, $34.00) is brighter. Tarte Pink Peony (P, $16.00) is sheerer. Givenchy Rose Taffetas (201) (P, $36.00) is brighter. Urban Decay Fiend (P, $22.00) is darker. Guerlain Georgia (P, $51.00) is slightly lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

These look gorgeous!
Right? Really pretty!
I got a couple of the mini’s and I’ve REALLY been loving this formula. Sucre is calling my name!
Glad you were able to try out the minis!
Drat, every single bite beauty post makes me cringe for leaving it out from this month’s buys.
Aww! There is always next time 🙂
Oh, now I really wish Bite was easily available here. I like all three, and Brandy most of all.
Ah, well, I guess I have enough to browse around and chose from, but I can always wish for even more, more brands, more products, so much fun 🙂
True! I hope one day Bite makes it to your part of the world (and hopefully not terribly marked up).
Aw… for some reason I was expecting Brandy to be similar to NARS Audrey… My bff (who is about an NC 10-15) absolutely LOVED Tatin. She picked it up when we went to the VIB Rouge event and loves it on her pigmented lips!
Is it weird that this post made me want Givenchy’s Brun Vintage?
Haha! It’s not, actually 😉 Sometimes dupes are better or more like the color you want!
Man! These are all to die for! So pretty.
Which one do you like the most?
I didn’t give these shades a second look before, but, woah… Brandy looks lovely on you!
Thanks, Veronica!
I like Brandy a lot. Looks like a Revlon Super Lustrous I have called Teak Rose, but I’ll keep an eye on this.
Nice to know!
Ohhh. I want all 3.
Which one do you like the most, Gina?
Eee Sucre is so pretty on you! I already own Chanel Melodieuse (and probably 5 other similar shades), but pink corals always make my heart skip a beat 🙂
Aww, thanks Sunny!
Okay, Bite really has to stop making all these pretty colors lol.. I love Brandy and Sucre!
haha! 😉
I’m loving all 3 shades! They are so wearable. I like how they are a bit muted and not neon-like. xD
Brandy is very beautiful.
I love that about them as well – not neon!
I have Brandy and Sucre – I’ve yet to try Sucre, but Brandy looks a lot lighter, less redder and more pink on me (I have super pigmented lips)! I like it, but it looks so much better on you! I also love how Tatin looks on you, but I feel like it may be too light for my NC 44 skin tone.
I bet it gorgeous on you, Pav!
Love Sucre, it’s nearly summer here where I live and Sucre would make the perfect bold day time lip colour for me!! Tatin is super dreamy too 🙂
Oooh, it would be nice as a summer lip!
I want all of them!
They’re all lovely!
Tatin is such a perfect shade! I have had it in my hand a million times wanting to buy it. I have to do it!
I hope you can manage to add it to your stash sometime 🙂
What amazes me is that Bite Beauty lip products are of consistently high quality. Tatin is my favorite of this set.
They do many things well!
I think sucre is my favourite! Ps. You look so lovely when you smile big Christine! You should do it more often 😀
Thanks, Mia!
I really like Sucre and Brandy.
Awesome picks!
Lovely set of colors. I like all three of these.
That makes two of us 😀
These are wonderful! I wish I had a money tree or something. Maybe I could justify buying, like, one a month, haha!
We all wish we did, LOL!
Loooove Brandy and Sucre!!! I need those in my life!
Hope you can try ’em, Sarah 😀
Beautiful. Every one. I like your eye makeup too!
Thank you!
I really shouldn’t want this but BITE’s formula is amazing! Hydrating and long-lasting!!
Happy to hear you like it!
I love Bite Beauty! In my eyes they can do no wrong! I actually picked up the big set they just put out (and the little 4 piece set..) and I can’t wait to get it!! I also picked up a ton of those $12 stocking stuffers they have out!
How fun! 😀
What’s on your cheeks? You look even lovelier than usual. 😉
Make Up For Ever S900 Artist Blush
I really like Brandy and Sucre!
Me too!
All their lip products that you have reviewed Christine have been of excellent quality. Yay! These look beautiful and they really suit you. I love Brandy the most.
So far, all but Truffle have been pretty nice!
Brandy is SO pretty! I might need to nab it now. <3
I love that one a lot! So nice for fall, too.
I own and love love Revlon Wild Watermelon but the different finish of Brandy makes it justifiable to own both. Or maybe I just want to have them all. 😉
I bought the set of Bite mini crayons based on your review and I just love them. And I love the duos too. What fun and wonderful lipsticks!
Wow, I really like all three of these! They’re not as matte as I’d expect for a formula that’s labeled “matte”, but they do look really comfortable to wear.
Oh my, these are calling out to me! Especially Brandy & Tatin. Have yet to try this line from Bite. If I could trouble you with a question Christine, how do they compare with Nars Audacious in terms on how they feel on the lips?
Thanks!
All three are pretty again! Is it just me (I haven’t gone back through the other reviews yet), or does this collection, Like the NARS Audacious one, run warm? It’s not really a problem, just something that’s creeping up on me as I read these reviews. I could be going mad, however (or my monitor is, LOL!).
These are gorgeous! I’ve got a few others, but not in these shades. I really like Bite’s formula. It’s so pigmented and lasts quite a long time on my lips, without drying them out.
