Bite Beauty Bouquet High Pigment Pencil
Bite Beauty Bouquet High Pigment Pencil

Bite Beauty Bouquet High Pigment Pencil ($24.00 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “peachy pink.” It’s a light-medium, yellow-toned pink with a semi-matte finish. It’s richly pigmented, as described, though the finish has a tiny bit more shine initially than a “modern matte” typically has, but that little bit of shine is worn away within an hour and a half of wear. The consistency is moderately creamy so it glides on well while still applying evenly. The color itself stays on well for four and a half hours and is lightly hydrating. It has a very subtle citrus-y scent. Too Faced Melted Peony (P, $21.00) is lighter. Laura Mercier Heartbreaker (LE, $23.00) is cooler-toned. YSL Corail Jalouse (32) (P, $34.00) is similar. YSL Opera Rose (29) (P, $34.00) is brighter, pinker. MAC Giddy (P, $16.00) is slightly warmer, more shimmery. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Bite Beauty Chablis High Pigment Pencil ($24.00 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “soft coral rose.” It’s a softly muted, medium coral-pink with warm undertones and a satin shine. This shade had fantastic, full color coverage, though the finish wasn’t quite as matte as described. It stayed on well for five and a half hours with a lightly hydrating formula. It was comfortable to wear, and it was easy to apply as the texture was creamy without being heavy. The muted quality to the color is what makes it different from some other corals, which have a brightness to them. It has a very subtle citrus-y scent. Givenchy Corail Decollete (303) (P, $36.00) is slightly pinker. Givenchy Brun Vintage (105) (P, $36.00) is more muted, less coral. MAC Mystical (LE, $16.00) is less pink. Guerlain Geneva (48) (P, $51.00) is brighter, warmer. MAC Toying Around (LE, $16.00) is brighter. Estee Lauder Defiant Coral (P, $30.00) is brighter, darker. Bite Beauty Crush (P, $28.00) is brighter. Marc Jacobs Beauty Shout (138) (LE, $30.00) is darker. MAC Out for Passion (LE, $20.00) is sheerer, warmer. Tarte Tulip (P, $16.00) is less pigmented. MAC Elegant Accent (P, $22.00) is pinker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Chablis is *stunning*. Enough colour to brighten up your face and be ‘done’, but delicate enough to lean comfortably in the ‘nude/MLBB’ direction. I really like it! 😀

Plus: coral, amirite? 😉

I just bought Bouquet last week! I wore it yesterday to the mall. I love it as much as my other Bite lipsticks. It even survived me eating a cinnamon sugar pretzel! Lol

chablis looks really nice. i just returned two of the matte creme pencils because they did not apply very nicely on my lips. how are these compared to the matte pencils? were the matte pencils le? i don’t see them on the sephora site anymore.

I think I’m starting to develop a love-hate relationship with Bite products. As in I love everything so I hate that I can’t just have them all.

Chablis has my name written all over it! I am seriously impressed with Bite beauty after reading so much about and so many great things! Would definitely want to visit their lab once! 🙂

WOW Chablis is an amazing shade. I either need to a) finally find my holy grail shade of medium pink already, or b) stop reading Temptalia. I add things to my wishlist every day reading your blog Christine!

These colors are beautiful! Christine, do you have a personal preference for Bite Beauty’s pencils or NARS Satin Lip Pencils? (Personally, I did not find NARS Satin Lip Pencil to be that comfortable to wear, and it settled into my lip lines quite noticeably, so I’m curious to hear your thoughts on which you prefer between the two.) Thanks Christine!

Does Bouquet compare at all to MAC Angel? It seems to me more matte and opaque but a similar color… Do you agree? I’m ready to jump all over it!

Neither of these colors would work on me, but I do love the Bite Beauty pencils! My coworker received Cranberry in a Sephora gift and wound up giving it to me because she’s not a red lipstick person, and it’s one of my favorite shades in my collection. The deeper shades do tend to feather on me a tad, so you do need a liner pencil if you have that issue, but I feel they’re worth the extra step since the pigmentation is so intense and it’s so comfortable to wear!

Chablis looks so pretty on you! I was going to buy Violet ( their lipstick) but thought I might not get enough use out of *another* bright purply pink lipstick. The texture of their lip products is amazing though I’ll give them that!

That’s it! I can’t take it anymore! I NEED bite beauty to offer a kit with their entire lip line. I have never been a lipstick person until I tried their products.

Huge fan of these pencils. So far I have a few of the vampier shades, but I am going to pick up a few of the reds and maybe Chablis. It’s purdy.

Have: Bramble, Cranberry, Quince and a bright: Corvina
So reading other comments, I see I am not alone with wanting more Bite.
I have Tannin, Pomegranate on my Sephora wishlist. Also really want Violet, but could be one of those colours that makes me look violently ill.. (rolling my eyes at my bad pan). 😀

Givenchy Brun Vintage has been sitting in my Sephora cart for a week now… I think Chablis might be an excuse not to buy it!

I have this small pencil in pomegranate n it’s stunninggggggggg
have small cream lipstick in shade pepper … that is nice MLBB shade 🙂 not long lasting but hydrating
I have already made my list
want these pencils , liquid lipsticks n cream lipsticks 🙂
I again repeat
Chablis is soooo pretty on you 🙂

Chablis looks like such a lovely muted everyday color. I am head over heels in love with Bite Beauty so I might have to sneak in another Bite Beauty purchase when I get my paycheck. 🙂

I mentioned Chablis on my blog recently — absolutely love the colour. I especially like that it’s muted because I can get away with wearing it during the day — so pretty!
