This is sold out and has been for at least a few days (and probably far longer still). I deeply apologize for not being able to review this sooner, and this review is up mostly for dupes at this point. In happier news, it only took Bite ten months to finally label the bottom of the lipstick tube itself with the number. The formula was mostly opaque with a smooth, lightly creamy consistency that adhered well without being clingy. It wore well for five hours on me and left a slight stain behind, but it was neither drying nor hydrating. It has a light, sweet, lemony scent and a very slightly sweet taste.

I like this one! I totally forgot about it this month! I didn’t even look at it. Oh well, I’ve been spending too much anyhow. 🙂

OMG, I am SO glad I snagged this one!! When I heard the color of the month was going to be purple, I started stalking the Sephora website, and as soon as it popped up, I threw into my cart. I’ve only swatched on my hand, but the color is gorgeous. And I’m going to try it under BITE Opal too. Dang, I should’ve grabbed a backup, but I was a little worried it was going to be too close to other purple lippies I owned, but nope. I guess BITE finally heard my pleas for a more unique shade of purple 🙂

I think I love this one the best out of all 10, so I sure am glad for the fact that it does have a considerable amount of dupes! Time for me to start bringing out my LE Maybelline Lavender Voltage because it is quite similar, although it’s cooler toned more like Heroine.

Exactly. It’s a very pretty berry! But I’m lost as to how they describe this as a blue-violet. It’s absolutely not. And BITE would make a KILLER truly blue-toned violet so I was pretty excited for that. Of course, I’m always down for a nice purple-pink/magenta-berry but I have more than enough of those to last quite a few lifetimes! True blue-violets are much harder to find straight out of the tube and I am a little sad it isn’t one despite advertising.

Also, while the quality is there in the ones I have (I believe 3,5,6,10), I wish they went weirder with the colors. They’re all lovely, but for such hyped limited releases I anticipated more colors that were harder to find generally. My favorite is #5 since it’s the only shade that’s actually somewhat unique as the rest are just iterations of more common shades, though they are all lovely. I wish they went a bit braver as they did with a grayed-out lavender with these. A true blue-violet in the indigo/cobalt range would be amazing, as would any other less-common shade of blue, the oranges could’ve been MORE orange, etc. I’m happy with all my picks and Lavender Thistle certainly isn’t the best quality of them. But it remains my favorite for being worth the jump in price.

Oh snap, looks like I really missed out this month. “Let’s hope they’ll come out with something similar in their permanent line,” said most likely anyone who keeps forgetting about these monthly LE releases which sell out in a flash.

Grrrr this is the first LE one of these that I really love and I didn’t get it! Such a color I would love. I really do hope they release a very similar color in their permanent line!
