Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Look you loved this week?: can’t think of any….
Any new or old favorites discovered?: DUH – I “rediscovered” a forgotten favourite yesterday and thought “Yippee – I have to remember this for when the question comes up again at Temptalia”. Of course, now I’ve totally forgotten what the heck it was! OH – wait, I think I remember now – I think it was the Bare Minerals Well-Rested powder “concealer”. I wasn’t happy with how my dark circles looked – covered but still “there”, just not as purple – so I dug out this old standby and patted some overtop and liked the noticeable improvement.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: My Sephora order is due to arrive on Wednesday and I’m really looking forward to trying out the Buriti Bronzer in that order.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes).
Look you loved this week?: Even though we mostly commemorated the Memorial of Christ’s death via Zoom I still put makeup on because I wanted to feel put together for it since it was such an important occasion.
Eyes: ND Nude Mini palette; Quoin transition, Soil to deepen crease, outer V and outer lower lashline, Lumino inner corners blended halfway across lid, Sienna outer 2/3 of lid and lower lashline, my usual Smashbox Fishnet Always On Eye Pencil on upper tightline, outer lashline, Sephora Contour Pencil in Cocoa on inner lower lashline, Maybelline Full & Soft waterproof mascara.
Cheeks: MAC Sweet Vision and a little bit of ABH X Amrezy highlighter.
Lips: Nyx Earthtone SLP, MAC Vegas Volt blotted, Fenty Gloss Bomb in Cheeky.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: The very next day, I had another appointment via phone, so I used MAC Superwatt on my lids and fell in love with it all over again! Mine still hasn’t dried out, thank goodness.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m really hoping that I get out of this depressing rut and I start using my makeup more often PERIOD.
Your skin tone/coloring: Below my name
Look you loved this week?: I wore the same look every day and I did like it. TF Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer on my lids, PMG PermaGel liner in Black Coffee, KGD Mainfanshi Long Lush Treatment Mascara in black, homemade color corrector consisting of L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in orange and KGD Maifanshi Makeup Color Base in yellow, Tarte Creaseless Concealer, Trish McEvoy Beauty Balm, and Milani Bronzer in All Over Glow as eye shadow and blush.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: No
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I will probably continue to use the same products. All I am trying to accomplish is not scaring myself when I see my reflection in the mirror while washing my hands.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Look you loved this week?: EYES — UDPP in Enigma. ABH X Jackie Aina Palette: Supreme (crease/base/blending shade, lower lid), Pinker (crease, lower lid), Credit (outer corner of crease and lid, lower lashline), and Sponsored (lid). ABH HL in Pink Heart (brow bone, inner corner). NYX Slim Eye Pencil in Black (upper waterline) and Tarte Amazonian Clay Eyeliner Pencil in Plum (lower waterline). Essence False Lash Effect Mascara. BROWS — Winky Lux e/s in Americano. LIPS — E.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose. CHEEKS — Sydney Grace Pressed Blush in Paris Skies. FACE — NYX Angel Veil primer, Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick in Porcelain, Ben Nye Neutral Set Face Powder, Sephora Colorful Contour in Tranquil, ABH Moonchild Glow Kit HL in Pink Heart, and DIY setting spray.
Any new or old favorites discovered?:
1 ) UD Vice Ltd. Palette. I’m not so happy with it on its own as I was when it came out, but all those pretty shimmers make it a great companion palette to matte and satin singles. I think my tastes and application methods have changed in the last few years. This week, I’ve been mostly using it with the Winky Lux Coffee and the CP She’s in Rainbows palettes.
2) E.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose. Such a pretty mauve, and it lasted really well through work. I’m on the phone all day, and frequently sipping drinks, so I need to dig out my other shades.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Natasha Denona Mini Retro Palette
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes warm brown hair
Look you loved this week?: I pulled out my very first Natasha Denona purchase I ever made, the 5-pan palette 9 (the one with the silver, taupe and green shades) and did a beautiful muted green look with a peachy cheek using the Beauty Bakerie Cotton Candy Champagne palette layered over Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam. For my lips, Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Musk. I’m never sure how to pair the ND 9 palette, but it looked really beautiful with peaches and nudes and the glitz and glow in those shadows are to DIE for. Some of the prettiest in my collection.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: The Nabla Cutie Nude palette has quickly become a favorite. Such interesting textures.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’ve been stuck in potty training hell for the last three days so I’m just excited to wear makeup at all, lol. But I would really love to use my new Nabla Dreamy 2 and ND Mini Retro palettes.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: That’s hard because I have loved most of my looks this week. But my favourite was with Natio’s Golden eyeshadow palette with the soft pewter shade on the lid, soft taupe on the lower lid, a burgundy shade next to my lashline, paired with Colour Pop’s Gallop lipstick.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Natio’s Golden eyeshadow palette, Flower Beauty’s Golden nudes and UD Vice 2’s stunning shade of Ambush…
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Yep, lots more eye palettes from my stash.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/neutral
Look you loved this week?: on the days I wore anything I have only been putting on bb cream and a Glossier blush (puff or beam), but I find it nice.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: on the reverse side, I realized I actually don’t like the Bioderma micellar water even though I have the Sensibio version. I think it hassles my skin.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: well, tomorrow my family is having Easter dinner over conference call so I’m looking forward to putting an actual look together.
Medium deep with neutral/ yellow undertone
The look I loved this week was achieved with the Bare Necessities palette/bundle a collaboration Colourpop and Princess Kae. It Included a 30 pan nude eye palette, sol body shimmer, and a 3 piece neutral lip set. Loved it!
Oldie was lashes that I was able to apply for once.
Looking forward to using a bright popping eye shadow palette this week.
Your skin tone/coloring: light/medium, neutral undertone
Look you loved this week?: Fresh faced peachy blush
Any new or old favorites discovered?: New tinted sunscreen (FAB Weightless Liquid Mineral SPF30)
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? I normally swap out my products once a month but I was a little late for April so I just did that now and will be using one of my favorite “combo” blush/bronzer products – Too Faced Sweetie Pie Radiant Matte Bronzer
Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium with neutral to yellow undertones, hazel eyes, brown/blond hair
Look you loved this week?: Natasha Denona Safari in crease and upward realllly blended and MAC Grand Galaxy on the lids (strong color at first and then it ends up diffusing itself out), Laura Mercier Intense Amethyst in lower waterline, smudged on lower lash line, bronzer and highlight, MAC Coffee and Cigs dotted on the lips, lip balm
Any new or old favorites discovered?: MAC Extra Dimension eyeshadows
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Natasha Denona Mini Retro palette!
Your skin tone/coloring:light, MAC NC 20
