Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Favorite Look: EYES—I have been into creating very simple, soft eye looks lately. I started with Benefit Goof Proof eyebrow pencil in Cool Gray. Then I primed with MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre, and set it with a light dusting of Urban Decay Foxy eyeshadow. From Tarte’s Unleashed eye palette, I applied Toucan Do It very lightly in the crease with a Sigma E25 brush, then tapped Irrelephant onto my lids using my finger. I applied Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Lucky on the outer half of my lower lash line so it blended out as it reached the center. Finished with Tarte Big Ego Mascara (the travel size that came with the Unleashed palette).
FACE—Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, Clinique Peach Pop Blush, RCMA No Color Powder. Finished with UD All Nighter setting spray.
LIPS—MAC See Sheer Lipstick

Most Used Products: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder.

Beauty Discovery: Nothing this week.

Favorite look from the week:
Face: Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk UVF 5.5, RCMA No Color Powder to set, Guerlain Meteorites in Medium 3 for buffing finish
Eyes: MAC Burgundy x 9 – Poppyseed set and and transition, Honey Lust from inner lid to halfway, Antiqued outer 1/2 of lid and deepen crease, #Noir to deepen crease and a smidge on outer v.
Cheeks: Guerlain Bronzer (Natural Brunette 3, I think), MAC Pinch Me blush, Tom Ford Moodlight duo (I swished both)
Lips: MAC On Hold lipstick

Your most used product this week: All of my staples

Any beauty discoveries (new or old):
1. New to me: MAC Prolongwear concealer has been working well for an eyeshadow base thus far. ?
2. I don’t like and don’t think I ever will the look of inner corner highlight. I’ve tried different colors and finishes and I don’t like the dimension it creates for my eye shape. I have had multiple makeovers with it done and the looks have been cohesive, but for me, it detracts from the eye look.

Favorite look from the week: Base was Dior Forever Glow Foundation in N2, concealer was Lancome Effacernes in light, blush Dior 999 and I used the Huda Bakery powder in Sugar Cookie and Guerlain Meteorites in 02 Claire to buff into the skin and MAC Fix +. Eye shadow was all from Give Me Glow Cosmetics Vintage Rose palette. I used Just Rose in the transition, Velvet Petals to deepen the crease, Aged Rose Stem to darken the outer V, Copper Rose to highlight the middle of my mobile lid and blossom as an inner corner highlight. I had to pull in a matte shadow for under the brow bone but that wasn’t a problem. I used Velvet Thorn and Petal on the lower lash line. I used concealer as my primer and the shadows performed well. I loved the look and look forward to using the palette some more. The shadows feel silicon heavy but I don’t mind that on the eyes. For mascara I used Buxom Waterproof. I am still trying to find an order of application using the 3 mascara’s that I love but which give me raccoon eyes in like an hour. The Buxom is the only one that doesn’t and that I can wear alone. I love the look of combining the Buxom with Lash Princess and the Revlon So Fierce. They give me the perfect separated, long and voluminous lashes but I can’t handle the raccoon eyes.

Your most used product this week: Not counting my usual base it would have to be the Dior 999 blush. It has been my go to for about a month now.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I have mentioned this on the blog over the past couple weeks but I learned the hard way that CBD oil just isn’t for my skin. I will be dealing with the aftermath for awhile as the blemishes left very red/purple hyperpigmentation and that was without touching them. Very disheartening. I am using the Murad Dark Spot Serum and Rose Hip Oil to lessen them but it takes time.

I just looked up that palette Deborah, and it is beautiful. It would really work well on you. I have never heard of this brand before and I think their eyeshadows look gorgeous.
A very pretty look. How awful that the oil affected your skin that way, it seems like you had a very bad reaction to an ingredient in it.

Thank you, Genevieve. I am thinking about picking up the Dirty Olive palette from them. The shadows are nice and the pans are really generous in size. Recently, I have been seeing a lot of palettes that I want and hadn’t purchased any palettes in awhile so I think I am just itching to buy some more shadows!!
I have Kaleidos Turquoise / Teal palette in a cart
Bobbi Brown Luxe Gems palette
Marc Jacobs Steel-etto palette (not new but have been wanting to get it for awhile)
and now the Olive palette. I have to make some tough decisions, LOL!!

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite look from the week: I used the Flower Beauty light gold all over the lid, added some of the L’Oreal chrome bronze shade to the lower lid, with a darker neutral brown – very softly in the crease and paired it with Colour Pop’s LA Lady.
Your most used product this week: Flower Beauty Golden Natural palette
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): That my gold/bronze craze is not abating!

Favorite look from the week: EYES — TFSI. My Pretty Zombie Eyeshadow in Everything Looks Better on a Meat Hook from lid to brow, layered heavy on the lid and then blended out lighter and lighter toward the brow. UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (upper waterline). NYX Faux Black Eyeliner in Oxblood smudged out with the MPZ eyeshadow. Medusa’s Makeup Witch Lash Mascara. CHEEKS — Tarte Amazonian Blush in Team Spirit. LIPS — Tarte Color Splash Lipstick in Beach Waves. FACE — E.l.f. Hydrating Face Primer, BH Cosmetics Nturally Flawless Foundation in Ivory, RCMA No Color Powderm Tarte HL in Extra Credit, Sephora Tranquil (contour), and Ivy MUA’s homemade setting spray. https://youtu.be/PUzM1FbmwsQ

Your most used product this week: Skin care. I only wore makeup a couple times this week.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): SauceBox’s sister brand Moonslice Cosmetics has been up and running with lipglosses for a couple months, and now they’re adding eyeshadow palettes. The Moonshake has been released, and is a very pretty neutral palette. I didn’t need it, though. However, I just pre-ordered the Moon Magic Palette. Alla, the owner, shared swatches on social media, and it’s an utterly gorgeous purple and plum palette with some dynamite duochromes and shimmers, and pigmented mattes. At $18.99, if the quality is as good as SauceBox’s, it’s a steal. I ordered a lipgloss, too, to try it out.

Favorite look from the week: Just a simple rose gold eye with my ND Sunrise and Safari palettes. The shade Awakening from the Sunrise palette is my favorite shade in that palette!

Your most used product this week: Tom Ford Lip Color in Casablanca.

Any beauty discoveries… The Cover Girl + Olay Advanced Radiance Foundation and the Age Defying foundations are really beautiful. I got them on recommendation from a YouTuber that I watch because I was looking for a new foundation. I’m very surprised how nice these look on my face! Like there’s a filter over it; it’s amazing!
